After getting out of the abandoned building, Abel makes haste as he heads back to town while carrying the lady in his hand and behind him was Lydia doing her possible best to catch up to him. After running far away from the building and knowing that they were safe, Abel slowed down so that Lydia could have the time to catch her breath.
"Where are we supposed to go from here" Lydia ask hardly able to catch her breath.
"I don't have any idea and there is no way that I would be able to take her home" replied Abel peering at the distance building.
"This is just great, we have no place to hide her and we just took her away without having a plan in mind" Lydia complained as she sat on the ground to rest.
"we may not have any place in mind right now but we can still think of an ideal place since we still have time on hand" suggest Abel.
"I guess you are right about that, so where do you have in mind" ask Lydia.
Abel went silent for a while before giving a reply.
"How about we take her to Mr. McCray tower".
"that is a good idea you have in that head of yours but if I may ask, do you have the keys to the tower" asked Lydia as she told her hands on her chest while waiting for Abel to reply.
"Hmm, how about we think of somewhere else" said Abel feeling a little embarrassed for coming up with the idea of hiding the lady in Mr. McCray's tower when he don't have access to it.
"Alright then since you don't any ideas, why don't we sneak her into school" suggested Lydia.
"that's a good one but the problem is how are we going to avoid getting caught by the security guards" asked Abel.
Hearing Abel asking how they are going to get in without being caught, makes her angry as she begins to question herself about how she come to know him.
"You are a vampire and the night is your home so what are you worried about" Lydia yelled at him.
"You are right, I'm invisible when it gets dark so there is no way they would be able to see me if I act quick" reply Abel after being reminded of his identity as a vampire.
"good thing you know, now can we get out of here" urge Lydia getting up from the ground.
Seeing that Lydia has recovered some stamina, Abel pick up the lady and continues to run but this time he was heading toward the school direction.
Meanwhile, back at the building, after the witch leader has finally held Mr. McCray at bay with the help of his skeleton fighters, he begins to head towards the exit. Having no time to go after him since he already have his hand full, Mr. McCray ordered while smacking a skeleton who was close by to the ground.
"don't let him out of the building".
Mr. Davis decided to go after him but before he could get close, the ground before him suddenly crack open as his legs were held in place by a boney hand.
"since you have time to spare, why don't you have some fun with my minion" chuckle the witch leader before walking out of the building but before leaving, he gave an order.
"Make sure they don't get out of this place".
Those that were not too affected by the banshee scream were already in defense just in case they were to scream again but now that they have an order to follow, they decided to go all out. Abandoning their defense, some of the witches begin to cut their palms as blood begins to drip on the ground while reciting an incantation in the process.
"This is one of the reasons why I don't like picking a fight with a witch" complain Mr. Davis as he took out a baseball bat from his back before striking it down on whatever was holding his legs in place.
"Is it because of their underhand method of getting things done or you are scared that they are going to take possession of your body" joke Mrs. Davis as she went to give her husband a hand?
"Ha-ha, very funny and I would like to see who wants to take possession of my body here" replied Mr. Davis as he had his back to his wife's.
Turning head over to see how Mr. McCray is faring on his side only to see him struggle with the skeletons and when a skeleton was dismembered, they will quickly put themselves together before continuing with their attack.
"Do you think we should give him a hand?" Mrs. Davis asked her husband.
"We still have a lot to handle and let's not forget what those witches are about to do" reply Mr. Davis before dashing forward to attack the witched before they can complete the spell they are chanting but just before he could get five miles to where they were standing, he was suddenly sent flying by a wind current cost by the witch that was knocked unconscious after their release.
Seeing that her husband was sent flying by a spell, Mrs. Davis let out an angry scream which sent the attacker flying in pain before going to check on him.
"Are you okay?" she ask after approaching him while he was getting up.
"Yeah" replied Mr. Davis before turning taking another look at the witches as they continue with the chant.
"We have to be prepared for whatever they plan to send at us".
While the couples were thinking of how to stop the witches, Mr. McCray was being concerned about the well-being of the kid since the leader of the witch is coming for them.
"I hope you will be able to take care of things on your end until I have dealt with all these skeletons" he muttered to himself.
