After having a lengthy discussion about how they will deal with Mr cha, Lee tae-hyun decided to go home; however, on his way out he stopped for a moment and said.
"Da-hee, I hope that everything goes according to plan."
"I hope so too-"
"And I also hope that when you tell my son about this conversation, that you could leave out the more emotional bits, like me cry- almost crying or whatever that was-" Then da-hee interrupts him with a big smile on her a face as she found the idea of such a powerful man being scared of his son knowing he cried about him.
"I won't say a word to him sir...., but I think you should, one day, very soon. Goodbye sir."
"Goodbye."
When Lee tae-hyun arrived home that day, he saw his wife in the living room. "Sara, you came back early. How was your trip?"
"It was fine... I heard something interesting today though; You missed a full day of work, why?"
"I am the president; I don't think missing a day or two will hurt. Don't you think?"
(I hate when you answer my question with a question.) Sara thought to herself.
As tae-hyun was about to head upstairs she stopped him again with another question. "Where did you go?"
"Our son had some issues in school that I had to take care of. Why the interrogation? Is there something wrong?"
"No dear, I just find it strange that's all, for years you have worked without taking a day off and now suddenly you do, but it's fine, go and rest." (Something is wrong, I know you're lying to me.)
"Also, about that man Cha min-geun, I will do business with him; so I would like to have his contact and I solely, will be in contact with him, understand?"
Sara became more confused about her husband's behaviour, but not wanting to push him any further she decided not to ask anymore questions, and simply replied. "Yes, that's fine with me." ( tae-hyun has always been the type to never want to involve me in the company business, but this seems odd; I never wanted us to do business with that gangster; I only wanted to string him along until he got rid of that girl. Something is off.) Suddenly, she hears someone arriving through the main gate. She goes out to see who it was and as hwan steps out of the car. He sees his mother looking quite pissed off. "What is wrong with your father?" She immediately asked him.
Hwan being obviously confused, replied. "What do you mean?"
"Your father didn't go to work today and now he comes back saying he wants to do business with that cha min-geun."
"Why are you upset, you're the one that introduced them."
"Hwan!!"
"Mom, there is nothing wrong with dad, he just took a day off, and regarding Mr cha he will handle it, so don't say anything to Cha min-geun. Can I go inside now? I have a test tomorrow." Sara eventually let him go even though he would not tell her what she really wanted to hear, and all she could think to her self at that moment was; (Something is definitely off.)
