As things were looking good for da-hee, much to the dismay of sara, who couldn't be sure of what could possibly be wrong; on the other hand, there was da-min. Among everyone that has had some sort of relationship with Mr cha, she is the one that has suffered the most and for the longest period of time; and the worst part is that she has suffered so much and not only at his hands.
"Da-min, You're still awake?" Sanghoon said to her softly as he moved closer to her on the bed. He stroked her hair gently and then moved to rubbing the tips of her ears. "Why aren't you sleeping, Is something bothering you?"
She chuckled lightly as she responded. "It's a surprise that I could ever sleep at all. Considering all the things that I have been through-"
"Shussh, don't think about that."
"It's not that easy, and it's not like all my troubles are in the past, I am still under Mr cha's thumb."
"He can't make you do those things anymore; you have more power in the organisation now."
"Yes, but if he meant it, he can find a way to push my hand. I don't know how long I can hold on and I don't know what I will do if he tries to force me again-"
"It's okay, it's okay" he says to her, as he pulls her tightly to himself. "I promised you, I will bring him down, and I am not letting you go down with him."
Later the next day, when da-min arrived home; she found her sister sitting in the dining room eating lunch, she didn't say anything to her as she walked by.
"Where have you been?" Da-hee suddenly asked. "You didn't come home last night."
"I'm sure you already know where I was." Da-min tries to leave again to her room, but da-hee stops her again by saying.
"It must be serious, considering that you're sleeping over, you even have clothes in his apartment to change into the next day."
"Is there something you want to say, da-hee?"
"If you're in this deep, then I'm sure you know who he is. You're not as smart as I am, but I am sure you're smarter than that."
"I know he's a cop da-hee."
"Good. Call lover boy upstairs, we need to talk."
Da-min rolled her eyes, she didn't want to take orders from her sister, but she knew that whatever da-hee needed to talk about would be important. When sanghoon got there da-hee asked him to sit and explained to him that Lee tae-hyun was going to help them take down Mr cha.
"Wait, so how will Lee tae-hyun get access to information that even you can't get." Sanghoon asked.
"Remember when I said that Mr cha doesn't leave any loose ends and destroys all incriminating evidence."
"Yes."
"Well that only applies to any files that I or da-min can get access to, but when doing business you need to share some information with your partner, now Lee tae-hyun is going to pretend to want to do some shady business with Mr cha and in doing so , he's going to ask for some proof, some information that shows that Mr cha has had success in fraudulent activities before; Mr Lee will provide that proof to the police; you arrest him for that, then you have more leeway to investigate his crime ring, drug activities and so on. Easy peasy."
