Saying that da-min and da-hee have had an easy life is an understatement. Their life has been horrible; from their mother abandoning them; their fathers death; da-min having to prostitute herself for Mr cha in other to provide for her and her sister; All these horrible things happened, and now it can all end with such an easy plan; It seems too good to be true.
Among all those involved in this plan, the one with the most to lose is da-min. She is the closest to him and she works for the company. Even though she only handles the legal aspect of the business and can evade the law when this all comes crumbling down, she still fears that somehow and in someway, if he falls, he will take her down with him.
"Da-min!" Mr cha's secretary calls out to her, breaking her chain of thought.
"Ha, tae-young, what is it?"
"Mr cha wants to see you."
As she walked toward his office, she already knew what he was going to say, and in her heart, she felt anxious."
"Da-min, how are you?"
"I am good sir." He gestures her to sit and she does. He sits opposite her and smiles; then he asked.
"Do you know why I asked you to come here?"
"No, but I am sure that you are not planning on asking me to see another client. We had an agreement that after Aser, I wouldn't do that anymore."
"Yes, yes I know. However you're still my lucky charm." He moves closer to her and sits besides her; he takes her hand and holds it with both hands as he says. "How do you expect me to start this new venture without consulting you; its my ritual." He then takes a deep breath and says. "What do you think of Lee tae-hyun?"
And so it begins, the beginning of the end. When da-min arrived home that day, she was so tired and as she opened her front door, she found her sister waiting on the couch for her, with a little grin on her face, like she was expecting good news and da-min simply said to her sister.
"He took the bait."
