Chapter 50 - Built up

Da-hee bounces off the chair joyfully as she goes to the fridge to find something to drink.

"You must be very happy, to know everything. Everything comes easy to you."

Da-hee pauses for a while, not understanding what her sister is talking about, then she closes the fridge and asked. "What are you talking about, where is this coming from?"

"Oh you know, I just find it odd how you're taking all of this; always calm, decisive and aloof, like you have no care in the world; but why would you, if one of your Master plan fails again, we both know the one who suffers isn't you but me."

Da-hee was a bit taken aback by her sisters' words, but she could see that da-min was a bit angry and anxious, so she decided in her mind that she was not going to let her words get to her and instead tried to calm her down. "I know you are anxious." Da-hee says as she moves closer to her sister. "I am also afraid, that's why I've been so patient; instead of rushing for a way to get rid of Mr cha, I have been waiting for the right moment, and this is the right moment."

Then Da-min shoves da-hee's hands off her shoulders and raises her voice as she says. "You have been patient; you have been patient! While I have been suffering? Are you forgetting that this is all your fault; we would have never had anything to do with Mr cha if it wasn't for you. I protected you, while being in harms way, I have been the one that has been patient."

"If you're going to complain about it so much then you should have just left while you had the chance. You didn't need to take care of me when our father died, I could have taken care of myself, I proved that."

"You were just a child; you couldn't even live without a guardian. I have been the one constantly protecting you, so that you could have a normal fucking life and all you have done is throw it in my face."

"I never asked you. It's you trying to protect me that caused what happened to you."

And at a reflex, da-min slapped da-hee across the face. Da-hee looked backed at her sister, chuckled a little and walked out of the house.

As da-hee walked out of her home she thought of where she could go. For some reason she wanted to talk to someone, but not Leah because she knew how sarcastic she would be, and uju is too much of a mom. She could make all the excuses she wanted, but she knew in her heart and mind there was only one person she wanted to see. As da-hee opened that office door, she found Mr Lee standing over his desk looking over files; He looked up and said.

"Da-hee what are you doing here by this time?"

"I needed to speak to you.... about Mr cha, just about some final details."

"Ok... so I should ignore the fact that you look like you were hit on the face."

"Yes."

"Very well, please sit down."
