Felix got used to this energy aura storm attacking him with more substantial power over time.
He only revolved his runes to absorb more power into his Mind Palace as this storm increased their concentration.
"I feel I am even closer to the fire law!" Felix was sitting cross-legged as he observed his fire rune in meditation.
Today was the second day of their stay on Gorgon's Peak.
He had a hard time the first day, but now he felt the aura a bit too weak to help him increase energy conversion.
"It feels like my Mind Palace attuned itself to this aura pressure!"
Felix observed how his body ached, but his mental energy recovered faster.
He needed only a few hours to recover his willpower and move around the camp.
Abbadon was meditating peacefully, but soon he felt a familiar presence.
"Greetings, grandfather!" Felix still had a cute kid's voice, using it very efficiently.
"Felix! How are you moving around so fast?" Abbadon was shocked to see this child moving around in this energy storm so quickly.
"Didn't I already explain to you that he comprehended nature's way?" Gyro's annoying voice sounded through the camp and attracted the expert's attention.
General Feng and others looked over and were surprised to see a kid moving around with a rugged look.
"Little boy! It seems that you have missed one rune!" General Feng's voice resounded through the camp.
He flew over and made a barrier to isolate them from this noisy storm.
"Let me enter your Mind-Space, Felix!" General Feng used a very polite voice but left no room for discussion, as Felix felt the general's boundless mental energy crash onto his skull.
Felix quickly entered his mind-space and saw General Feng looking around curiously.
"Kid, your Mind-Palace is unique! I have never seen in any records something like this!" General Feng stated as he flew towards the tiny planet and stood on the surface.
"What do you mean, General Feng?" Felix tried to get some helpful information from this older man politely.
"Well, it is unique in its form and size! However, if I had to compare, it is not even in the top ten of the most powerful Mind Palace's!" General Feng said with a smile.
"Felix, you have one more rune that you brought with you from your past life!"
"What is he talking about?" Felix was sure he didn't have additional runes, and that Earth had no magic.
"Kid, it seems you comprehended something in your last life! This understanding manifested in this life, hidden in your soul! Let me bring us into your Soul-Space!"
Felix was disturbed and felt General Feng force his mental avatar into a different space.
"It feels so comfortable here!" Felix said as he felt so much resonating power in this space.
He believed that he could crush anything in this space!
"Don't joke around, kid! You could defend yourself from Soul Transformation Stage experts in this space as it belongs to you, but against my cultivation, it is useless!"
General Feng used the annoying mind-reading technique and reduced Felix's wishful thinking to dust.
"Look there, kid!" General Feng pointed towards a small leaf that traveled as if it was always falling.
"This is one of the most esoteric energies in this universe! The Nature Energy!" General Feng observed with an excited face.
"Felix, it seems you already have some law energy in this rune! I recommend you don't take it out from your soul as it will bring numerous benefits to you in the future!"
Felix looked at General Feng's excitement with confusion.
"General Feng, can you explain what it can do?" Felix asked.
"Kid, just use some intent, and this rune will reveal everything to you!"
Felix did so, and soon he felt the familiar burst of foreign information flood his mind.
He had similar images with his Yin Rune. However, this time, he found out that there was no such energy as natural energy!
This Nature Rune was a manifestation of how everything in the universe had its path!
As long as you follow your natural path, this rune could manifest itself to you!
"But what path am I following now?" Felix was even more confused, but he felt pain in his mind as images appeared.
They showed his past life when he had no freedom during his childhood.
The following image showed his oath to renounce his past name with free will.
"So that's how it is! If I remain faithful to my heart, I will receive the benefits from nature's way!"
General Feng was surprised to see the leaf-shaped rune light up with green light.
They were forced out from Felix's soul-space and appeared in his Mind-Palace.
Felix was trans-like and sat with closed eyes on this tiny planet.
"Is this kid going to comprehend a law?!" General Feng looked with surprise.
Felix's Mind Palace was transforming again!
Fire Rune melted into planets terrain, and hundreds of volcanos appeared, heating the environment.
From up above, some green energy droplets fell from the sky. General Feng felt them similar to that leaf rune.
As these drops reached the planet's ground, a lot of vitality nourished the life rune, and some life energy swept the earth.
Felix opened his eyes and felt unprecedented power in his mind.
It felt as if his random command would make fire burst in an explosion!
"Congratulations, Felix! You took your first step towards your second star!" General Feng smiled amiably towards the child's avatar and left the space.
Felix returned as well, and he was soon thrown into training again. General Feng didn't even give him time to ask anything!
"Wow, I can feel how my Fire Law Rune is absorbing the storm's fire attribute energy!"
Felix's Fire Rune evolved into a Law Rune. He saw how it looked like a small formation, only containing elemental spells of heat, burst, and burn.
The Law constantly tried to get stronger on its own. That was the reason why it absorbed all fire energy from the surroundings.
"I need to meditate! I don't have much mental power now!" So Felix began meditating to restore his mental energy and continued absorbing firepower from the beast's aura storm.
After a few hours, night came, and they had to rest.
"Wake up, you sleepy heads!" General Feng's voice roused everyone from their painful sleep.
"We begin walking in a few hours. Go get ready!" General watched everyone slowly eat and get ready in this severe pressure.
After they got ready, their journey continued.
For weeks Felix saw nothing else but mountains and snow!
This Titled Beast God aura storm was irrelevant to him as well. He only used it to cultivate faster.
Unfortunately, Marcus, Amelia, and other trainees were tortured every day during this travel.
They experienced many body transformations, and their looks showed more willpower.
"I heard we will journey for nine months before returning to Purple Sand branch!" Felix calculated the time and was sad to see that eight months of training remained.
The group reached the Northern shores and finally saw the Bottomless Gulf Sea.
"Why is it so dark?" Felix wondered as he looked at the almost black water.
"We will cross the sea with our bodies!" Everyone was stunned to hear General Feng's command.
"Ladies, this is training, not a vacation! The land beast will retreat, but I am sure we will find polite sea beasts to accompany us!"
Felix felt exhaustion wash over him again. "This can't be how this general intends to travel over the Boundless Star!"
"We will let the kids use their powers to travel until they are unable to move. Then we will erect a platform to rest. This movement will continue until we reach land! The next destination is Cronum Island! MOVE OUT!"
Felix saw how other kids swam or used some treasures to float in the sea and move slowly.
They were not allowed to use boats, only their bodies. Thus, they floated and swam to the best of their ability.
Felix used his water rune to form a water pump behind him and some air energy to create a bubble so he would float.
A mage had the best adaptability as far as he knew.
Marcus had an envious look to see Felix float gently without consuming too much stamina.
The kids lasted for a few hours in this endless sea, even with their talents.
Soon, days passed, and sea creatures appeared. They acted as training buddies due to General Fengs commands.
Felix counted thousands of islands over a few months, but none of them was their target.
The trainees made a lot of progress, and now they crossed thousands of miles in the ocean.
Marcus even reached second evolutions of his Innate Titan Body. Others also improved a lot.
"I feel so adaptable to the water now!" As his water rune got more potent in the ocean, Felix felt something attract him.
His water rune started to transform independently and sent colossal information to his brain.
Soon his next Law Rune evolved, and it was Water Law Rune!
In only a few months, he comprehended three laws!
"It seems that going outside to train is the fastest method to grow!" Felix concluded.
General Feng made them travel for a total of 6 months through oceans. However, they eventually reached Crumum Island.
"Congratulations, you completed your first stage of willpower training!" General Feng said and gave everyone some rewards.
"Now we will have a small competition on this island! You will fight against each other, and number one will have a chance to request me something!"
They had three days to rest.
"I feel like my body is full of power!" Felix rejoiced as he felt his muscles exude tremendous strength after this training in energy aura storm.
Others also made considerable progress, and some half stepped into Supreme Core Stage!
"This competition won't be easy!" Felix made an observation.
He especially felt weary towards Amelia, Wang, and Marcus. They showed substantial bodily improvements and had unusually lethal speed.
The elders erected a small platform for a stage, and they surrounded it to watch the entertainment.
"Children, the competitions in our Westgate Clan are significant. We even have mandatory fifty, hundred, thousand, and ten thousand years competitions that decide the distribution of resources! It is the most peaceful way to gain power in the family without internal conflicts! The merit amount shows who the ruling party is. You will learn more about politics when you are older. Now we will draw lots to decide who fights first!"
Elder Xi acted as a referee and let everyone draw lots. Felix got to number ten, fighting last against number twenty.
Soon they began battles, and some children were first. They finished after exhausting their powers.
"These two are too weak," Felix observed the two unknown kids fight like silly thugs.
Soon the twins fought each other and were eliminated in a draw.
One more was injured, so only six kids went to the second round.
They drew lots again, and the fatty Marcus was lucky to fight the first kid who won.
Next was Amelia's fight against Wang, and it was a very short fight!
Wang used a spear and had a lot of skill. However, Amelia predicted his pounce and used a small dagger to point into his throat, winning quickly.
"Damn, I must not give her a chance!" Felix looked at the girl who made a quick work of Wang.
Felix had to fight an unknown kid and won easily.
Now only Marcus, Amelia, and Felix were left as a top three.
"You will fight in a trio! Begin!" Elder Xi commanded, and the three kids stepped on a stage.
"Sorry, Felix, I will have to do my best!" Marcus was a bit uncomfortable fighting his friend.
Amelia, however, didn't waste time and rushed towards Felix.
"She thinks I am the only competition!" Felix was a bit angry at this girl, who ignored the fatty.
Unfortunately for Amelia, fatty was very quick-witted and used his strong body to jump and crush the stone platform into boulders.
"Fucking hell, this fatty is crazy!" Felix thought as he lost his balance.
Marcus picked up a huge boulder and threw it towards Amelia and Felix.
Amelia barely dodged it, but Felix didn't even try as he used his earth magic to turn the boulder into the sand.
It cost him a lot of mental power, so he quickly condensed Water Arrows and aimed towards Amelia and Marcus.
The sharp arrow hit the fatty, as he was a bit slow after the strenuous throw.
"Marcus Eliminated! He is the third place!" Elder Xi announced.
Amelia managed to predict the arrow's trajectory and dodged endlessly.
"Fuck! I don't have enough mental energy!" Felix quickly turned the arrow into steam to hide from her.
He roused his new Fire Law Rune and condensed all excess power into his fist.
"Drachma point!" Felix chanted as his fire energy turned into a golden, coin-like appearance.
He threw this big golden fire coin into the air.
Amelia had a grave look as her Seven Secrets Eyes showed no way to evade this attack.
She tried to use all her power to defend.
Soon the big coin hit the ground and burst into golden flame, which traveled through the ground's surface.
This golden flame found its target and exploded on Amelia.
Soon the fire blasted her out of the stage, and Elder Xi announced their places.
"Amelia is the second place! So Felix wins the competition!"
"I feel so tired! I have too little mental energy!" Felix was exhausted but happy to win against this creepy seeing girl.
"Good job, guys! Amelia needs to train more abilities! Then she will become a very dangerous opponent! Marcus must train his speed more! And Felix, it seems, you need to increase your mental energy!"
General Feng evaluated the kid's performance.
"Yes, General Feng." The trio bowed in respect and waited for the rewards.

"Kids, you will travel to the central star, so you should learn our place on the food chain! You will be introduced to the powers of the universe when we go back to Ximen, but now you will see what this Boundless Star branch can do!"
Felix heard that Gyro was a Principle, God. However, he didn't know others' cultivation levels, apart from his grandparents and parents.
His mom and dad reached the demigod stage, and granny Ofelia was also a demigod. Only Abbadon was a Titled God.
Soon one of the experts of the clan stepped up.
"I am Nick, and I specialize in fist formation techniques!" The expert saluted General Feng.
"Good, you will fight this expert tomorrow!"
They relaxed for one day and traveled to the island's center, where a small house stood.
"I didn't expect so many guests! Why have you come to disturb me in such a remote place?" A rough voice grumbled, and a short man appeared in front of the crowd.
"Excuse us for intrusion, sir! As you can see, I am traveling with my kids and experts to train them! I was wondering if you would like to fight and bet one of our experts in the same stage as you?"
General Feng was quite polite, but Felix could see how the man showed fear when he felt no power from the general who was floating.
"I will accept your challenge. What will the stakes be?" Fente accepted the challenge and received an approving look from the general.
"What do you need, brave man?" General Feng asked the man.
"Well, as you can see, I am a solo cultivator, and I need recourses, so I will accept what you will give me if I win!"
"That is an intelligent choice. I will give you enough resources to reach a Titled God Stage if you win! However, you will join the Westgate Clan with your free will if you lose! Is that acceptable to you, or do you want to change the stakes?"
Everyone looked at this shorty, who frowned and stayed silent for a while.
"I will accept this gamble! You don't seem like an evil clan, so I won't suffer if I join you. If I am mistaken, then I can only blame my poor judgment!"
General Feng was satisfied to hear this answer.
The experts looked shocked to see how easily this general could recruit a Demigod Stage expert.
Nick stepped forward and cupped his fists to Fente.
"Start the fight!" General Feng acted as a referee this time.
Felix watched how Nick punched the air and a yellow image formed.
Soon, a vast roar sounded, and the image turned into a wave and slammed Fente.
"If that's all you got, I won't be changing my house, after all!" Fente sneered and took out a rapier.
It was a needle-like sword that fighters used for stabbing. It had superior speed.
Fente stepped on the air and disappeared. Soon he stabbed Nick from behind.
The crowd could hear the screeching of the air as the weapon's point was distorting the void with its incredible power.
Felix was sure that this hit would be lethal.
Nick only punched down, and soon a formation of light, like a diagram, appeared.
Everyone could see a colossal avatar shadow around Nick.
This avatar looked like a giant version of this expert.
Soon nick punched, and avatar mirrored him.
A mountain-like fist hit Fente, and a terrifying boom sounded.
Fente was thrown back with messy hair, but his rapier left a wound on Nick's fist as well.
"I surrender. Your fist technique is too dangerous!"
General Feng was impressed by Nick's performance, as not many people can train their punching techniques to such a level.
"It was a nice battle. Now swear an oath to join us later. After that, we will make an official inauguration!"
General Feng said, and Fente swore to join the clan.
"Nick, your performance was beautiful. Therefore, I reward you with this Legendary Fist Techniques tome, written by a Principle God, specializing in such a fighting path."
Nick had a happy expression and returned to the ship.
"We travel to the central continent now! I saw the reports of a lot of experts there!"
So, their challenging months began, and soon many of the kids had to fight other juniors from other authorities.
Some have won, others had to train under aura again, but they all learned a lot during these eight months.
"Okay, we will travel back now, as all other branches will have their juniors sent back to the Purple Sand!"
Their journey ended with a lot of new experts on a ship.
General Feng convinced a lot of Demigods and several Titled Gods, and even beasts to join the clan.
He also found a few talented stray kids and took them under his wing.
Felix returned to his home with a considerable increase in power.
He learned Fire, Water, Nature, and Earth Law Runes.
He was almost halfway towards his second start as a mage.
Time passed quickly, and the time to get back to Ximen Star came.
General Feng appointed a new branch to lead the Boundless Star. He also picked thirty kids to follow back to the headquarters.
Only the whole Purple Sand branch was going to the Ximen Star. Others were not worthy.
"Tomorrow, the Westgate Artifact will open the passage for us to cross this vast distance and travel to the Ximen Star! You should know that this is the primary artifact that gives us our Westgate name! It can connect us through space and time if we sacrifice a lot of energy and let us reach any branch! So be ready and don't disappoint me!"
Felix was trying to fall asleep early, as he wanted the next day to come faster.
"I want to see what Ximen Star Domain looks like!" Felix heard a lot about their clan and wished to learn more.
It was almost the only thing he could think about, as this whole new knowledge was awaiting him.
