Xai sat at his office desk doing paperwork while chewing on the back of the pen and once in awhile thinking about his two phone calls he made to Bradley. He seemed to be temporarily out of his mind. The two phone calls were both short but insane …. One was when he couldn't sleep in the middle of the night and he wasn't really coherent and the other was when he was heading to work not level headed at all because of lack of sleep. Bradley really didn't give Xai much of an response. He saw him throughout the day at work and there was an awkward silence between them. He quickly decided not to bring it up. Avoiding the topic for now was his best option of trying to be less crazy. He new he probably should talk to her but he wasn't ready at the moment and he felt a little embarrassed. He came to a screeching halt. His mind has been preoccupied that he almost hit a dog that ran in front of his vehicle. A young girl scooped the dog up, waved and quickly ran back to the sidewalk out getting the dog out of harms way. He watched as she happily hugged the dog holding it in the air gently making exaggerating faces at the dog as if she was scolding a child. That was close he thought to himself making sure to focus on his driving as he started towards home once again. "I let Barb do everything today and I even took several naps, I drew some, and looked at baby names. How was your day Xai?" Calley asked sweetly not being able to bring up his weird behavior. She decided to let it slide when he was ready she assumed he would let her know.
