apartment and locking it, making sure that he locked it up tight before exiting the building and heading to his car.
The drive to his destination was fairly short and it didn't take long at all. He parked his car at a spot near the back of the neighborhood. He walked slowly towards the back of the property until he reached an old gate and pushed the metal bar down so that it could be unlocked from the inside. He then pushed it up to allow himself entry, the gate slowly swinging back open. He then proceeded to walk the rest of the way until he reached a small wooden porch, overlooking a small garden. The tall fence surrounding the garden was covered in vines and flowers, but it didn't stop Akio from climbing over. The fence was covered in rusting metal and peeling paint, so it took effort on Akio' s part to get over.
Upon reaching the grassy hill that lead to the garden, the ravenette spotted the familiar head of brown hair. He sighed in relief knowing that the brunette was okay. He jogged towards the brunette to catch up, calling out his name and running towards him.
Akihiko looked over his shoulder when he heard the noise. A smile formed across his lips as he saw Akio running towards him. He turned around, walking backwards and holding his phone in one hand while gesturing his other arm with his index finger in the air to show Akio something. Akio approached him, stopping in front of him, his face now only inches away from Akihiko's. Akihiko smiled and leaned forward, connecting their lips briefly, causing Akio to smile happily against the taller man's mouth. He leaned his forehead onto Akio's for a moment before leaning back, looking Akio right in the eye. He grinned, "What?"
"Nothing..." Akio blushed a bit and cleared his throat. "Just... You surprised me. Thought you weren't coming over."
"Haha yeah..." Akihiko scratched his nape as he chuckled nervously, "Sorry. I just woke up late."
"That's alright."
They continued walkingalong the path, chatting about random things, mostly about Misaki.
They continued walking in silence until Akio spoke up, "You really care about him, huh?"
Akihiko looked at his best friend and chuckled slightly. "What makes you say that?"
"Well," He stopped and faced Akio. "You've never been someone who would leave someone like that alone unless something happened. You're not usually this nice. When I called you this morning you answered and immediately hung up. I'm just wondering why."
Akihiko shrugged, "Maybe I just felt sorry for him."
"Why though? Did you guys fight or something? Does he have a problem?"
"He just... Tried to kiss me."
"Oh."
"Yeah..." He laughed lightly, "It was pretty embarrassing to tell you the truth."
"Embarrassing? Why?"
"Because it was so sudden. I mean... He kissed me right in front of you and then he ran away. I'm not sure why he did it, but I can assure you that I'm not gonna kiss him again anytime soon."
"Good," He grinned. "I wouldn't wanna ruin your friendship with Misaki."
"Yeah," He chuckled nervously, looking down, "That would be awkward."
