Right?"
They both laughed lightly before continuing on their walk to Misaki's house. They talked and joked, occasionally stopping to talk to a neighbor that they passed by on their way. After a couple hours of walking and talking, they arrived at the entrance of a small neighborhood that Akio and Misaki grew up in.
The small neighborhood was filled with homes with small gardens and well kept yards and flower beds. Small houses lined the roads, some smaller than others, and most had trees covering the front yard. There were even a few that didn't have trees at all. The houses themselves were small, with simple wood floors, windows, doors, and roofs. Most had little bushes lining the sidewalks. Many of the houses were painted bright colors, like blue, pink, purple, and green. All houses seemed to be occupied, even though it wasn't that late at night yet. It was easy for Akio to pick out his neighbors and friends from the many cars parked in thI appreciate it too."
"I don't know how to say 'thank you' properly so please accept it anyways."
"Of course."
"Anyway, come inside before we freeze to death~" Misaki said playfully.
"Okay." He smiled once more as he followed after Misaki.
As they entered the house, Akio found that it seemed cleaner than it used to be. There was a bit of clutter on the shelves, the carpet was slightly faded and dusty, there were cobwebs on some corners of the ceiling, and overall, the place seemed abandoned.
"Welcome to our humble abode!" Misaki smiled. "My parents left to go visit some friends, which means there'll be more people around tonight. Just don't touch anything!"
"Got it."
"Alright~ Follow me and make yourselves at home."
He followed after Misaki upstairs and through the hallways of the house. The house itself was rather big so it wasn't hard to figure out where Misaki lived. As they came upon Misaki's bedroom, Akio opened the door to reveal the messy bed, his desk filled with paperwork and books, and a closet filled with miscellaneous items such as jackets, hats, and some shoes, along with pictures.e driveway and the street.
"Hey, Akio!"
Akio turned and was surprised to find Misaki waving to him. He waved back. He then looked over at a woman standing next to the brunette, smiling warmly at him. The woman was wearing a floral print dress and had dark brown hair and light skin. She was quite small, only 5' 5'4", if that.
Misaki noticed that Akio was still confused. So, he spoke up, "Mom!" He pointed towards the raven haired male, "This is my friend, Akio! Akio this is my mom! And that's my dad!" He pointed to the man who stood beside his wife and pointed to another lady who stood close behind the two. "That's my older sister, Hanae, and my younger brother, Hajime. They went to school together in middle school. Hajime is our cousin. He lives on the other side of town so he usually comes over here every week to stay with us!" Misaki exclaimed. He then pointed towards a couple of boys who stood next to each other laughing. "Those two are my cousins, Komaeda Nagito and Akane Owari." He smiled.
"Nice to meet you," Akio bowed, bowing to all three of them. "It's a pleasure to meet you all."
"Same here," Hajime grinned, nodding at the raven haired male.
"Likewise," Komaeda smiled sweetly at him.
"I know you already know my son, but welcome to our neighborhood, Akio. We appreciate it." Hanae added.
"Thank you." He smiled,
