As much as he enjoyed spending time with his best friend, he also liked having his arms wrapped securely around his waist. But he knew that if he let go now, the redhead wouldn't like it. So instead of letting go, Akio stayed still for awhile longer, enjoying the warm embrace that the shorter male gave him. And the warmth that radiated from his body and filled the entire room. It warmed his heart to see how happy Misaki looked as he talked.
It was obvious that Misaki felt the same way.
When Misaki was done showing Akio pictures, he handed Akio back his phone.
Akio stared at Misaki's beautiful face and thought about something. He then asked, "So, what are we going to do today? Any plans?"
"Well... We have class tomorrow." Misaki responded. He glanced away, scratching his cheek a bit awkwardly.
Akio raised a brow, "You don't sound thrilled to hear that."
"I am, I just..." He paused, thinking about what else to say. "I want to hang out with my friend more than I want to go to class. Besides, you and your mom already told me that I couldn't come home yesterday."
"You have classes tomorrow, so I'm sorry Misaki but I don't think you' be able to do anything this weekend."
"But... What about Saturday?"
"Saturday?"
"Yeah. My mother said that she'll take me to her friends house for dinner. Do you mind?"
Akio shook his head slightly. "No, not at all."
"Okay."
And with that, Misaki stood up and grabbed his backpack off the ground, heading for the door. He paused for a moment before turning back to Akio once again. He gave Akio one final look before saying goodbye and closing the door softly.
Akio remained staring at the door after he heard the door click shut. He couldn't believe his ears. Did Misaki just invite him over to his house for a family dinner?
Akio let out a sigh and placed his face into his hands. He wondered what his mom and Misaki's father would think. Probably nothing much since his father never approved of Akio dating anyone. Well, no offense to Akio's father. His father has always been very strict and protective towards Akio. He's known about Akio being gay, his father knows about the whole situation with Akio's ex girlfriend, and his mother is supportive of them and is okay with everything. Still, Akio feels uneasy and scared about seeing the man who treated Akio like dirt in the presence of his familyAfter hearing that, the raven haired boy decided that maybe he'd just go for it, just to see Misaki's father. If he doesn't like him, then what does it matter anyway?
Akio stood up from his seat, heading to his room to change into some comfortable clothes to go out. He grabbed a black turtleneck sweater and white sweatpants, slipping them on quickly. With the sweater on, he grabbed his wallet and keys. He put on his shoes before leaving his
