"Charlotte!!!"
Owen called out to Charlotte but she just straight off went to park her car and afterwards headed inside her house. Owen quickly followed her, as soon as he caught up to her he began to bombard her with questions,
"Charlotte! Why didn't you tell me beforehand? And why were the police there? What did you do to the thugs? Did you perhaps....Ki..kill KILL THEM?"
"What the fuck Owen. Isn't the question usually ' are you fine? ' "
"Yeah usually the question would be that but it doesn't apply to you. There would be hundreds of them but you'll still kick all of their ass with ease.
As Charlotte headed towards her bedroom while Owen was still following her, before closing her bedroom door she stopped for a while and told him,
"Don't exaggerate, Go order something to eat."
Then she closed the door. Owen went down in the living room and prepared the food which he had already brought.
After showering and changing, Charlotte came down and saw food on table. She sat beside Owen while he just kept looking at her, with a confused look on her face she put a chicken in her mouth and asked him,
"What is it? You want some?"
"Oh im glad you asked, but seriously why do you always do things on your own. Try to rely on me too sometimes. You can call me whenever you are in trouble. Am i not your friend?"
"No", Charlotte answered without looking at him.
"Ah i knew it Charlotte, then i am you're soulmate aren't i. I knew you had feelings for me, you were just shy to confess it right! Don't worry i'll accept your feelings with my arms open wide."
With a disgusted expression on her face she shoved a piece of chicken in Owen's mouth and said,
"Keep dreaming."
Owen took out his mobile and while scrolling through his pictures he took yesterday trying out different clothes, he asked her,
"Charlotte please pick one for me, it's for tomorrow. You haven't forgot tomorrow's party, have you? Or shall we just wear matching outfit, what do you say? Woah i'm a genius aren't i."
Charlotte glanced at his phone and told him,
"This one"
She chose the one shown in his screen without even looking at the rest because she knew how persistent Owen can be while making others pick clothes for him.
Owen knew how hard it is to make Charlotte change her mind so he didn't pester her about the matching outfit.
Both of them finished the food while Owen kept talking about the movie he recently watched. After finishing both of them cleaned up. Owen looked at his phone and said,
"Ahh sheesh it's about to be 10. It's soo dark outside. Shall i just stay here today, since going out at this time would be dangerous right!"
Charlotte gave him a death glare and Owen hurriedly got ready to head outside,
"Ah no no i was just joking, chill chill. See you tomorrow Charlotte."
Saying this he winked at Charlotte and went outside, she made sure that he drove away. After that she closed the door, headed towards her bedroom and played her favourite songs and fell asleep with their help.
After a good amount of sleep Charlotte woke up. The sight of her waking up was soo ethereal that if someone took a photo of that, then that photo would have been sold in millions. As breathtakingly beautiful she was, she was also a very relatable character. She went back to sleep because the party was in the evening.
While on the other other hand, Owen got up early in the morning. After finishing his morning routine(skin care), he sat outside, besides his swimming pool. His butler Tim had placed his favourite tea besides him on a small table. Owen took a photo of drinking tea and posted it on instabram. In just a few minutes he got millions of likes and thousands of comment describing his handsomeness.
"What a good way to start a day. My fans must have been dying to see this majestic beauty of mine."
Even though Tim was used to this side of his master he still couldn't stop cringing at him.
Charlotte got up after 3 hours and after finishing her morning routine, she opened her closet to check dresses. She searched everything and didn't find anything suitable to wear at the party. Because It had been a long time since she had gone out for shopping. She wore bolero thigh length dress from channela, put on a sunglass and headed out for shopping.
She was also an ambassador of chanela so she wore dresses from that brand often.
She went in a mall she always went and entered her favourite cloth store where they knew her taste. She checked few clothes and almost bought everything from the store. All of them were from very famous brands. After paying, she told them to have it delivered it to her house. She visited another jewellery store where she bought matching diamond necklaces, earrings and other necessary accessories for the clothes she had bought, afterwards she went in a cafe. She chose to go there because only few people were there, she was already tried of the shopping and people stopping her to take photos with her before she entered every store. After relaxing enough, she headed outside the mall and went home.
She checked her phone while picking dress and she saw the news of her shopping at the mall already. The headline was very exaggerated,
"The super rich mega star Charlotte shopped at xxx mall and wiped out the stores." That news was already trending in google. Seeing this she laughed. She then got dressed up and headed towards where the party was being held.
She greeted everyone, posed for photos and finally they all sat down. Owen sat a bit farther from her as she didn't like owen being friendly infront of too many eyes. Director stood up with half full wine glass on his hand and gave a speech,
"Lets all raise our glasses for the successful completion of our movie shooting. Let's hope for the massive success of our movie. Thanks to everyone who was part of this team. All of you worked very hard and i know this hardwork you all put into will be paid off soon. Thank you everyone."
After this he again poured wine in his glass and said,
"Let's again raise our glass for our main leads! Charlotte and Vale who did an outstanding job on carrying the story well."
Everyone clapped, Charlotte and Owen both stood up to bow. Everyone were talking with each other there. Director jim went to where Charlotte was sitting and talked about promotions and other stuff regarding the movie. Since Charlotte had a very busy schedule and as her manager was not with her at the moment, she agreed to attend only one promotion event alongside Owen. Soon the party ended and they all parted ways. On the way outside Charlotte was looking at her phone while walking and she bumped into a tall yet masculine figure. She looked up to see the person and was mesmerized by the person infront of her. She bowed down and apologized.
"Im sorry for not looking while walking."
The person also bowed down and apologized,
"Ah no, i was doing the same so it's my fault as well."
After saying that he went past her. Charlotte had never seen that man anywhere.
"I have never seen that guy around here. Is he an celebrity? He totally looks like one, but how come i've never seen him. So guys like them do exist. And damn that manly deep voice. He sure is my type. Oh but I don't know anything about him. Ah anyways world's a small place, we will meet eventually."
She then met Owen on the way to the parking slot. Owen talked about his dissatisfaction on not being able to converse with her in crowds and after they reached the area, they parted ways saying bye.
