After signing a contract with JA company Charlotte went there in a daily basis just to see Joseph even if it was just for a glimpse. It continued for a week. Despite going there daily she was still doing her works and was always active.
One day Both Amelia and Charlotte were inside the company at Charlotte's own office space provided by the company. Amelia had already figured out her behaviour, she knew Charlotte had a huge crush on Joseph. She got close to her and whispered in her ear, "Charlotte you have a crush on the boss right!"
Hearing this Charlotte quickly got up from her chair and replied, "Ya, how did you know!"
Amelia was disappointed as she wanted to tease her further, "You sure admitted quick. How will anyone not know idiot. It's very obvious."
Charlotte sat down again and looking at the mirror she said, "And i thought i was doing well in hiding it, I hope he finds out about it too, cause it seems like he's uninterested."
Amelia patted her back and consoled her, "I bet he's just acting cool, otherwise who wouldn't fall for you. I would if i were a boy. If he doesn't then he ain't straight sis."
Charlotte laughed at what Amelia said.
Amelia checked her phone and said, "Charlotte we need to go for that cosmetic advertisement shoot. If we head out right now, we'll get there on time."
Charlotte got up and while tying her hair up she said, "Ah okay, i completely forgot about that. Let's go"
They both headed outside and as they were walking towards the parking slot they saw Joseph hugging another guy. They both were shocked and immediately hid behind a car.
They talked with each other in whispers,
"You saw that Charlotte! When i said that he ain't straight, i was just kidding but look at that now!"
With a shocked expression Charlotte replied, "Shush we'll be found out, wait I'll peek a bit"
Charlotte peeked and saw them holding hands, she panicked and told Amelia, "You were right, You were right! They're holding hands now!"
Amelia adjusting her detective posture said, "See i told you, let me see too"
Amelia slowly got up to see and saw Joseph waving bye to the guy he was hugging and after that he came towards their direction while looking at his phone. Amelia panicked and hid while informing Charlotte, "Hide hide, he's coming here Hideee!"
They both moved backwards of the car they were hiding without making a noise. Joseph went by and they were left unnoticed. Both of them were looking at the Joseph's figure disappearing slowly and right after he was no where to be seen, they got out and started talking to each other panicking while heading towards their car.
"Now we know why he was indifferent infront of you who can even seduce a girl with her looks."
Charlotte laughed at that and said, "Lol stop it. Enough of comforting, I'm fine but yeah you know what to do right."
Amelia did a salute and replied, "Yes Mam! I'll look into it right after we're done with the shoot."
Amelia then drove the car and they reached where the shooting was held. The makeup artist did Charlotte's makeup and the stylist dressed her. As she was getting out of the room, the makeup artist and the stylist talked with eachother, "What's so special about her that she's this famous, she looks like a vixen." They intentionally said it out loud so that she would hear.
Charlotte looked back and gave them a deathly stare. They both sweated and staggered. She gave them a smile and said, "I'll take that as a compliment, Thank you." With this they both became silent.
Saying this Charlotte went outside for the shoot. Director guided her a bit and she quickly caught up and they ended shoot faster than they had calculated. Director praised her and asked her to join the team for lunch but she respectfully rejected it and headed out with Amelia.
Amelia while getting ready to drive told her, "Working with you is soo good, cause you always finish works faster and I don't have to deal with extra stuffs since you don't. What a job. I'm never quitting Charlotte."
Charlotte looked at her with a confused expression and said, "Uh Thank you?"
Amelia dropped Charlotte at her house and headed to her own. Right after reaching her apartment, she started digging out all the infos of Joseph. No matter how much she looked into it, she found nothing interesting. She called one of her friends who she used to rely on for getting information of different individuals. Then she rested with a relief because her friend was someone really reliable regarding those stuff. Amelia was a very active girl, she always cooked her own food and rarely would order food. She was a very good cook. After eating, she prepared Charlotte's schedule for the next day. After a while she finished her work and as she was about to sleep, she got a call from her friend, she immediately answered. Her friend told her that the information about Joseph would be sent tomorrow, she thanked the person and hung up. That lifted up her mood and with a smile on her face, she slept.
Charlotte after reaching her home, She went to her small garden. She had a small garden in the backyard where she had planted few plants. She played music on a speaker as she had no one living around her, she lived far from the city. While listening to music she watered the plants and took pictures of the flower. She then looked at the sky, as the sun was going down, it was a beautiful scenery. She looked at the beautiful sight for quite a while and said,
"Why do i feel like I'm forgetting something." she changed her music to heavy metal and said, "Ah anyways if i forgot about it, then it means it wasn't important." She then continued watering the grasses while vibing with the music.
