On the other hand Owen the poor puppy was busy with the film shooting in Hawaii. Owen and Charlotte both were given an offer to be the main leads of the movie "Breath of the sea", directed by Miyon Chang, A legendary director who had directed countless legendary movies. Everyone in the industry knew about them, getting to even play the smallest role in his movies was taken as a huge achievement. But the ceo of Charlotte's previous company didn't let her know about it and he had informed the director that Charlotte had refused the offer, he had also suggested Miyon to let Emma be the lead. The fat guy after much persuasion, he succeeded in getting the role for Emma because he had also told Miyon that Charlotte was the one who referred her for the role. Miyon thought that if she was the one who referred then Emma must be amazing so he agreed after quite a while.
Owen was sure that Charlotte would sign it so he did it right away, but little did he know about what would happen.
Owen who was resting on a hammock at the beach of Hawaii looked like an abandoned puppy with no will to live, he said to himself, "What am i doing here? Where did i go wrong? Why am i an idiot? Why don't i think before taking actions? Why was i sure that Charlotte would sign it? Aarghh my brain can't take it. And she even referred Emma that sly bitch. Oh god! She's not even picking up my calls or replying my messages. I know she replies texts after weeks normally but it's been a month! And she's always using her phone anyway! Why does she hate me soo much." As the abandoned puppy was crying Owen's manager Mark who was looking for him saw him and went towards him running, "What the heck Owen, I've been looking for you for 30 minutes now and you were here relaxing! And what the hell are you muttering early in the morning."
Owen looked back and Mark let out a shriek and fell down, "Jesus motherf....er what the hell happen to your eyes! You look like a freaking zombie!"
Owen then spoke to him like an old man who had no energy, "Do i look like i'm relaxing? I haven't slept well this whole month! Mark i want to go back! I can't do this anymore pleaseeee!!!"
After saying this Owen clung to Mark's leg tight. Mark tried to get away but couldn't, "Let go you Charlotte freak! It's your own fault, don't increase my work any further. Get back to hotel this instant and get ready for today's shoot, they'll start after 20 minute. Let go already! I can't walk properly!"
Owen kept clinging to his leg even when mark was walking slowly while dragging him on the sand, "Mark please cancel this. I'll double the amount of your salary ah no I'll triple it!"
Mark was exhausted after dragging Owen, breathing heavily he screamed, "Shut up!!! And get back to work!!"
Back to our two girls. Amelia who saw a happy dream where she was punched her ex until his face was unrecognisable woke up with a cheerful expression. She happily got out of the bed and as she was heading towards bathroom she got a call from the friend she asked for help last night, she picked up immediately and a tired voice answered,
"I looked into it and found some info on him though it's not as drastic stuff as your hoping."
Amelia spoke in a happy tone, "As expected of you so where's the file?"
Her friend replied in an irritated tone, "A concern about how i spent the whole night would have been appreciated you cold hearted woman. Ah anyways i'll send you the files shortly but first, Payment!"
Amelia shouted at him, "Why would i be concerned about you brat who never does a single work without payment. You never sleep at night anyways, what's so new about that you brat. The payment will be transferred in you account in a minute."
She then hung up the phone and transferred the payment. As soon as the payment was transferred, her friend also sent her the file. She then cursed at her friend, "This brat doesn't even lift a single stick without being paid."
She looked at all the informations which was sent as a pdf file in a toilet and after reading everything she called Charlotte, "Yo you pooping?" Charlotte who just sat to do so replied, " Ya you?"
Amelia also replied, "Ya me too. The thing you told me to look into yesterday, I've acquired some infos. It might not be that interesting for you though. Let's meet at that cafe, I'll tell you about it there."
Charlotte agreed with her, "Okay" and the hung up.
They both arrived at the cafe and after being seated beside the window, Amelia took out a lunch box and said, "Eat this first, I'll tell you about him while you eat."
Charlotte nodded like an obedient child and ate the beautifully arranged food inside the lunch box which Amelia prepared.
Amelia was content with how cute Charlotte looked while eating, she then started telling her about Joseph, "The main thing that i found is that Joseph is not gay since he has dated a girl in the past. He's from a wealthy family but it seems he was adopted. But yeah no one knows about him being adopted, they might have kept this information hidden. I don't know how my friend was able to find this. Even though we know that he's adopted, there's no proof to support that since his family has always been a mysterious ones. And no one dared to touch them because of their high status. Despite them never being caught up in any controversies, there was one time when Joseph disappeared from this country. Not like kidnapped or anything, his family must've known where he was since they didn't report and continued going at their office and running the business like normal. It's just that the media didn't know his whereabouts for a week. When his family was asked about it, they just said that he was sick and bedridden so it was solved. But my friend said that he was nowhere in this country at that time. Other than that there's nothing special. He went office as usual after that one week of disappearance. Joseph dated a girl named Charlotte which is just a coincidence i believe and then broke up after seven months which is quite long. And then he took after some businesses of his father and opened some of his own which made it to headlines, that is when we knew about him. That's all about Joseph. And yeah when he was dating Charlotte the other girl, you hadn't even joined this industry at that time."
Charlotte who was quietly eating the food while listening to Amelia without a single change in her expression, she finished eating and spoke up, "I see, So he's single right now?"
Amelia who finally took a sip of the coffee that she had ordered spoke again, "Yeah i think"
Charlotte smiled at Amelia and said, "Thanks Amelia. It's hard to find a guy like him, he looks like levi that's why i'm tailing him like this. I'll give it a shot."
Amelia laughed at that and said, "Haha of course lol, why else would you follow him. I know you very well. Okay then I'll be your wingman. You might be able to find your fated one this time if it goes well."
They both did a fist bump and headed to their company.
