After the short encounter with the guy who's identity is yet to be known, Charlotte hopes to meet him again as she was mesmerized by his elegance and the deep voice which was a melodic music to her ears.
After few weeks there's a news that's making the headlines everywhere and it's not about Charlotte but about a new face who os taking over many businesses and rising to the top. This uproar gets to the ear of Charlotte. After Amelia told her about this, she checked the news out and gasped at the photo that was in the news. It was no other but the guy who left her enchanted after the short meet. She smiled seeing the news, "So he was no ordinary person huh."
Amelia with a confused look said, "Huh what? Who? Him? You know him?"
Charlotte smirks and answers her, "Nope"
Amelia leaves that topic and hurriedly tells her, "Charlotte listenn! The reason i told you about him is because he's taking over tons of businesses. And every business of his is at the top with 100% success rate. He's literally the king right now. He's on national level. He has been doing this for quite a long time but he recently got the recognition and made it the news causing an uproar because he opened his own entertainment company!"
Amelia finally breathes after saying this all faster than a rapper.
Charlotte nodded in confusion and said, "Yeahh soo? I don't get where you're going with this!"
Amelia takes a long breath and starts explaining, "You know our company is at the top right now only cause of you. And i know no one can reach your level but him opening a company in this field is suspicious because he must've been hiding a card right! Since his business is on the top he must be eying for the top company in this field as well. So we need to be careful for any other artist to come. You have fame and everything but you also have lots of enemy waiting for every opportunity to bring you down. Even those 3 top artist in our company they only show respect for show but have been backbiting you since you reached the top. And they've even took numerous deals and contracts away from you, sugarcoating the chief. So what i'm saying is that we need to game up."
Amelia sat down and breathed, Charlotte while nodding her head answered, "Hmm i did knew that they were like that behind me but i didn't know about the part of taking deals away from me."
Amelia explained, "You do know that you have the least amount of deals and least movies out of everyone out there! But you could've had more if it weren't for emma, She has been doing it since a long time!"
Charlotte with a surprised expression said, "Now that's a surprise, No matter with what method she tries to climb up, I'm thousands of step ahead of her but that doesn't mean that I'll let her take everything of mine. So how did yu knew about all this now?"
Amelia looks straight into Charlotte's eye and said, "Yesterday i went in our company and when i went inside bathroom i heard someone outside talking in phone, and it was emma's manager. She was telling emma how hard it was to get the deal from them when it was originally yours. I was confused but i investigated the matter and soon found out that the chief was holding out deals and was secretly giving it to emma. That chief sure is a snake."
Charlotte widened her eyes and said, "Woah that took a U turn. Does that fat guy not know that his company is flourishing only cause of me. I will not stay quiet about this matter. He'll regret this one."
Charlotte crossed her legs and looking at Amelia she spoke again,
"Amelia about the thing, stepping up our game, let's start. You know that renowned brand Royal?
Amelia nodded her head and answered, "Of course, who doesn't know about it."
Charlotte spoke again, "You know how hard it is to get a contract from them. And all the celebrities that has been on their magazine and adds are the respectable ones who has been in the industry for a long time. I heard they're looking for someone for their new collection of jewelleries. Even though i'm famous and all, i know they won't come to me since i've been in this industry only for a short while and people think that my fame will go down someday like those hyped up debutees who are famous in the beginning but their fame go down eventually with time. And after my new movie I haven't been doing anything. So i want to be their muse."
Amelia with a spark on her eyes said, "Woah that's a great idea Charlotte. We need to keep the fire burning. Though it might be hard to get a deal out of them i'm sure if it's you, we can get it. If you do get the deal, you'll be the first one to become a muse without a long history in this industry. That will be a huge profit for us. And the emma who's working hard to get to your level will again drown with a huge difference between you two."
Charlotte smiled and said, "Okay then get to work, i'm counting on you for this one."
Amelia gives Charlotte a thumbs up energetically and starts working to get the deal.
After few days Amelia with dark circles looking like a panda came to Charlotte and said, "Charlotte i have a news for us regarding Royal."
Charlotte with a nervous expression said, "What is it?"
Amelia threw the file she was holding and replied, "We got the deallll, you're in!!"
They both jumped in excitement holding each other.
"I knew you could do it Amelia."
Amelia crossed her hands and nodded, "Aren't i cool"
Charlotte hugged her and replied, "Yess, my cool manager."
Amelia sat down and explained the details to her, "You have to go to their company the day after tomorrow to sign the contract and they'll tell you the details there. It was hard to get a yes from them. They're still hesitant about choosing you so you need to be careful on the day you go there. I did my part but now it's your turn, Since it's 30% success right now, the rest is upto you."
"No wonder, they only work with the legends. Thanks again Amelia, i won't let your hardwork go to waste."
