By the time Lora got back from school her little sister was already in her mother's arms releasing a flood of tears. Lora stood at the entrance to their kitchen for a bit and thought she couldn't take the grim atmosphere. So she just went straight upstairs to her room, and set her bag on the bed. She looked at the art on the walls of the medium-sized room, then her eyes shifted to the window behind her and saw the light rainfall gracefully outside. She decided to turn on her PC and check what discord and youtube had to offer her. Unfortunately there was no new
videos to watch and the chats on the servers weren't enough to cheer her up. So she set her head on the table and just watched people reply to each other. Her eyes caught sight of the two notifications she had received, the first was a message from a gaming server and the second was from Dino fiver69. She opened the dm and replied to his hello.
"How are you doing?" He asked.
"I'm okay."
He didn't reply for about 20 seconds. Then he finally texted.
"You're not okay, are you?"
"What makes you think so?"
"I just feel like there's something bothering you."
"Well… yeah you're right."
"Well, you wanna talk about it?"
"No, Let's just do something else."
"OK you wanna play some minecraft?"
"Nah, I don't feel like gaming."
"Alright, Let's listen to some music."
"I don't feel like music either."
"Then what do you wanna do?"
""OK you know what, I'll just do whatever you wanna do."
".... well then let's talk about what's bothering you."
".....ok."
Lora explained what happened, but she excluded the details of her Deja vu.
"That's too bad." Said DinoFiver.
"Nah it's ok, there's nothing I could possibly do. Somethings are just out of out hands right?"
"Yeah pretty much…"
"Oh yeah, I never introduced myself, my name is Dante, what's yours?"
"My name is Lora."
"Well, Lora, do you feel like some minecraft now?"
"... Sure thing."
From there, they played for an hour. After that they said their goodbyes and Lora went to bed. When she covered herself and stared at the ceiling, she couldn't sleep. She decided to start counting until her eyelids gradually fell shut.
The rain falls gently outside as a woman prepares a meal for herself in the kitchen. A smile of satisfaction fills her face as she sets her meal on the table.
She begins to think aloud, "haah, I finally got that man out of my life, no way he'll be bothering me now. Hmmm, I almost forgot about that bottle of wine."
She went and fetched the bottles of expensive wine she had been keeping hidden away. As she poured some into a glass she sat on her couch in the living room and turned on her T.V.
"A great start to a new beginning." She said, As the rain kept falling outside she enjoyed her meal and T.V. then she heard a knock at the door. She decided to get up and check who was there but there was no one. She went back to her T.V and sat down. She heard another knock by the back door in the kitchen. Wondering how someone would find themselves in her backyard she peeped through her kitchen window and saw nothing but her garden of kitchen ingredients.
Fighting off the nervous feeling which crawled up her spine, she sat down again and continued with her show. Again a knock could be heard in the bathroom upstairs. "Is it me or are the rats this season getting smarter, I should hire an exterminator."
She moves patiently upstairs, when she reaches the bathroom door, she can hear the shower running. "That's odd, I could have swore I turned off the shower." When she slowly opened the door it made a cracking sound. She stared through the small space to see if anyone was there. She suddenly jumped when a rat rapidly ran past her feet.
"Ahhh! I should definitely call the exterminator."
She turned off the shower and the bathroom lights. Closing the door behind her she continued past the corridor leading to her staircase, when suddenly the lights went out.
"Great! Now I'm gonna miss the Real Housewives of Hollywood!"
When she wandered blindly down stairs, she found the front door open.
"No, I definitely closed that door." She goes and closes the door and then searches the couch for her phone. When she finds it, she turns on the flashlight and goes to the door beneath the staircase which leads to her garage. She opens the box on the walls of the garage to find out why her Power cut. When she discovers that one of the levers had been turned off.
"Hmm, it must have tripped or something." She flips the lever back on the power returns, her garage light illuminates the room. When she closed the box she could smell cheap alcohol all over the room. Suddenly the woman can feel the cold fear scratching her back and sense another presence in the room. She feels her muscles tense up. Heavy breathing is heard behind her, and before the woman could even turn to see, she's suddenly hit and was knocked out, and what follows was darkness once more. When she awoke everything was blurry. She could barely make out the figure standing in front of her, she tried to move, her arms and legs were bound. A sudden headache hit.
"My love, you're awake." A voice rallied. The voice sounded familiar enough to clear her disorientation.
"Lenard? What are you doing?!" She asked in confusion. She could finally see him seated on a chair with his legs crossed, pouring himself a glass of wine from the bottle she had down stairs. She was strapped to the bed and the lights were out, the only sources of light were two lit candles.
"This is some good wine, love." Said Lenard, "Thanks for the anniversary gift."
"Stop this nonsense now! Why are you even doing this!? We're divorced!"
"EXACTLY! You broke my heart! We could have become a family but no! You chose to leave!!"
"Are you kidding me!? You're the one who kept gulping down drinks, you came stomping into my house everyday, reeking of booze! You basically did nothing but drink all day and then come back to threaten my life! Heh you almost killed me last time!"
"Yes…. I guess I did. But this time I'm gonna make you pay. This time…. I WILL KILL YOU."
The woman began to scream for help while she tried to struggle out of her restraints but it was no use. The rain and thunder swallowed any sound that dared to come forth. She kept screaming as she watched her capture tower over her as he mounted her bed. And in the moment a flash of lightning lit the room. She saw the madness and lust in his eyes, his lust to end her. She knew she was going to do it this time. Lenard made sure he savoured his prey. He kept beating her to a bloody pulp. His fists rained down on her like iron weights. She wondered why this man was so dedicated to making her life a miserable one. She screamed and cried in pain begging him to stop.
When he tired himself out, he dismounted the bed, took the wine and drained it down his throat
, some of it trickled from his mouth. When he finished he looked at the woman strapped into the bed. Seeing his work, he was proud of it. His lips curled into a devious smile. The woman was crying over her blood, all her power was taken by the ruthless fists of her captor. Still showing a hint of resistance she said
"Screw you!! You think you'll get away with this-"
*GLASS BREAKING*
Lenard holds the bottle at the neck, as the lightning flashed, she knew what he was thinking. As he slowly mounted the bed and stood over her, another flash of lightning illuminated murderous intent in his eyes which was enough to swallow her whole, Any shred of pride and courage, was gone now, all that remained was fear as well as the regret of ever knowing such a person.
"Len, stop this-." She stammered frightfully, "let's talk ab-b-bout this."
"You've always talked too much, it's time I shut you up for good!"
"No! Pl-please, I'm sorry! I made a mistake!"
It was too late. Lenard plunged the broken bottle of wine into her ribs over and over and over and over-
