I looked at the sky as I walked home from school. It was sunny with few clouds and not that warm. A typical day of spring here.
Things have gone back to normal since then. I mean, it has been about a year now.
I closed my eyes as I looked back down at the ground watching as thoughts tried to peek in.
There's no need to think about it.
I sighed as I walked toward my front door. I dug through my pocket to get my keys and started to unlock the door. After fiddling for a while I got it open letting it slowly open as I put my keys back.
I froze as I looked at what was in front of me.
Right in front of me, in my house, were six guys. Six guys who had no business here.
"Mom?" I yelled staring at all six of them.
All of them were looking back at me.
Finally my mom came into the room completely ignoring the guys.
"Yes dear? What is it?" She asked with a confused face on.
Is she stupid or something?
I walked in and pulled her over to the other room.
"Who are these guys?" I whispered hunching over.
"Oh those fine boys?" She said a little too loud for my taste.
"Shh! Yes mom! Who are they?"
Fine boys?! What was she thinking?
I felt someone tap my shoulder and turned around only to see all of them there.
I practically jumped at the sight.
I guess they heard us.
"Um, excuse me, but we can answer that question for you."
I looked at the guy who said that seeing he looked to be the oldest out of all of them.
"I have an idea," my mom yelled clapping her hands together. "Let's get to know each other!"
I looked at her like she was crazy.
"That sounds like a good idea."
Again the same person talked as if acting as the voice for all of the guys here.
I rolled my eyes and folded my arms.
"Don't I get a say in this?"
"Do you not want to know who all of these people are?"
I looked at my mom sarcastically.
"No mom. I want them out of the house."
I ignored the part of my brian trying to tell me they were here listening to me.
"Too bad."
She switched from me to the guys in an instant after saying that and started heading to the living room.
