"Great, genius! Now go find us some hot sauce of handcuffs and jail while you're out feeding your belly with damned apples, huh? Oh and by the way, did you even think of bringing me any", Morty asked with the redness on his nose.
Vijay retorted carefully. "Me? So you actually think it was my fault. You don't think its somehow possible that when your friend gave us this location saying it was non-patrolled by the freaking blues, he actually lied?!", he shouted at his full.
Morty punched him straight in the face and Vijay went down on the floor. He got up and rushed shoulder first into Morty's chest, pushing him straight onto the wall. The bed-side lamp fell down and broke its top. Morty pushed Vijay off of himself and onto the bed, and then climbed on top it. He knelt down and was about to punch him on the chin when they both heard a knock on the door and a shout that said, " Careful on the noise. We're trying to sleep in the next room. Don't make me call the manager."
So Vijay pushed him aside and went to the bathroom to put water on his burning cheek. And Morty brushed off the anger as he carefully picked the lamp up and positioned it like it was the way before. "I contacted Wendy. Me. Not you. So you better watch out before you point at me for trying to tap out a little bit of my hungry mind.", came a controlled voice of Vijay from the bathroom. Morty sighed. He spoke with calm. "Look, I'm sorry. While you were out I made the contact. He's gonna be here in 3 hours. Apparently, he got spooked by the cop too. So he's laying low until the heat's out in the sky. I told him to come within 3 hours either way." . Vijay walked out and leaned on the sink. He looked at Morty and sighed too. "Two things. He better hurry up 'cause as far rations- we have only one bottle of water left. And another, I get it, but if not your guy then why the cops would be here?". They reveled in their thoughts, fighting for a solution until it occurred to them simultaneously. They both looked at each other at the same time in awe, and squealed, " Wendy's parents!"
Vijay rushed into the bathroom and opened the innards of the phone. Threw the sim-card in the toilet, flushed it and broke the phone after discarding the battery. Meanwhile, Morty kept watch and started packing their things. He was almost done when he heard another knock on the door, so did Vijay. Morty went to peek through the peep hole as Vijay kneed the bathroom door shut.
Vijay put his ear on the door and heard muffled voices. "Hello officer.", Vijay heard as Morty shouted intently. He let the muffled voices go on in the background. He quickly opened his pants and pulled out his belt, which he used to it to block the underside of the door, so that even the cop couldn't budge it open.
