Chapter 7 - Sarah

She always wondered what a strange place to build a shop for ornaments so classy and glossy. But she was a worker of course, so all she could do was keep her head down and work her rear off. Now all she could wait for is the end of the day so she could get her work done efficiently. So she went into the backdoor, found the changing room and put on her dress. A red one-piece that extended just a little above her knee-level, black slacks that cut into her skin almost burning it and a white shirt. She put on the nameplate, the 'M' in her name was was always a bit more cursive than the rest of her name, but today she shrugged it off considering it was a different day for her.

At that moment exactly 4 miles away, in the little suburb, inside a well laid abode, a girl was packing her bag. She put on her favorite red lipstick and wore an bracelet, both of which she always hid from the ogres that were sleeping in the other room. However, one of them was leaning on her room's door.

"Yes, yes, you put up quite well for someone who's about to wear a mask.", she said.

"How about you watch me free us?", Sarah replied while slinging on her back.

"Ooh, fiery! Like it.", she said. She raised her hand. "Come here", she said again.

Sarah moved slowly to her. Wendy held her forehead and kissed it. They hugged for the last time and Wendy accompanied her to the black range-truck that was standing silently. Wendy gave a last pat on her waist and sent her off in the truck.

"Put on the mask", Vijay said as he turned right on the wheel.

Sarah complied on point, not wasting a single second.

He opened the dashboard and handed her the colt.

"I've delivered the other two to Wendy. Don't worry I've got it from a sealed source.", he said.

Sarah sighed as she held the gun and clicked down its magazine.

"Two bullets. Good, no chance risking it.", she said through the mask.

After about half-an-hour they reached the jewelry shop.
