"Wait, hold on, what do you mean that I'll end up like my boyfriend? Were you the ones that killed him?" Amy asked, almost coughing up blood in rage.
The footsteps stopped, and the leader whispered something to his subordinates. "Humph... that idiot does not know how to fight. He just kept screaming like a baby, begging, crying like a fool. So, he was your boyfriend? Ha! Pathetic" the leader scoffed.
Amy tears began welling up in her eyes. The grief she struggled to hold all this while broke out like a dam. She felt depression, rage, denial, hatred for the situation she was in.
The only thing that kept ringing in her mind was 'Revenge! Revenge!!' Amy shook her tears and twisted her face in anger. Amy then stayed silent and waited for them to come closer to her.
Amy would commit her first murder today, and she was not nervous anymore. She already had enough, she was going to make everyone that caused her distress disappear from the face of the earth.
"You're not talking anymore. I should've expected that from an idiot's girl." The leader mocked but did not receive a response. Amy knew what they were doing. They were trying to locate her by her voice, but it was not happening.
Amy stared at a door two-pillar away. She planned to run there and wait for them. She breathed deeply and counted down. "Three…two…one…" Amy swiftly ran out of the pillar she was hiding, prompting the goons to shoot in her direction.
Amy successfully entered another room, but it was empty, except for some scattered furniture dispersed around the space. 'Perfect' she thought smiling. She grabbed a decapacitated chair's leg that had lots of nails on the edge and waited for them to come in first.
The goons slowly and cautiously approached the door and waited for their leader. The leader made a sign, prompting one of the men to throw a stun grenade. When Amy saw the grenade, she immediately knew what it was. It was an M84 stun grenade, less explosive, but still very effective.
Amy closed her eyes tightly and screamed. The grenade then flashed a very bright light, along with a loud bang, almost giving Amy a heart attack. Her head was banging painfully as she struggled to maintain her consciousness. Meanwhile, one of the goons had entered the room.
Fortunately for Amy, she stayed next to the door, so the assailant did not see her immediately. As he was about to turn, Amy swung the stick with all her strength, smashing the wooden leg directly to his face.
That impact caused the assailant to drop the gun and hold his face as bright blood poured out of the gaps of his finger. Amy did not waste time, and quickly grabbed the machine gun and shot his chest, finally ending his life. The other two who were still outside then promptly ran into the room and pointed at the place where Amy once stood, but she was not there.
Because the room was poorly lit, the assailant was not able to locate Amy easily. They turned on the torchlight at the tip of their guns and cautiously searched for her.
Amy had not left the room yet. She was behind the two assailants, so she crouched down and pointed up at their manhood. 'I cannot kill these two at once, so I'll kill one and make a run for it', she thought. She then pressed the trigger, releasing a bullet to the air as it made a direct hit at one of the assailant's manhood.
The stricken assailant made a loud howl as he bent down and fell, alerting the assailant next to him. Amy quickly stood up and ran out of the room, but before she left the room, another bullet shot her thigh, causing her to fall. The assailant then ran out of the room and approached her. It was then that she was able to see his face.
"Wow for a woman this tiny, you sure had a strong physique." The assailant said, smiling widely. Amy tried to grab the gun couple of feet away from her, but he kicked it away. The assailant then placed his left leg and pointed the gun on her face.
"I am only going to let you live, in one condition, you tell me where he is" the leader, who Amy had already identified with his voice, said. Amy was already getting dizzy, as his face of him was blurring.
Amy presumed she was going to die here, tried to buy as much time as possible so James and his foster family would reach their destination safely. "Why? What makes you think that Charles was going to just let you go after all this, huh? Charles is a very evil person, all the people he hired before you either went missing or died mysteriously." Amy said and coughed up another blood.
"You think that lowly man would kill me, huh, let him try. However, an order is an order, whether he tries to kill me or not. Amy Penn, hand over the location of the boy, trust me, I'll let you live. Scouts honour!" the assailant said, making a scout's hand gesture.
While the leader of the assailants was talking, Amy had already grabbed a broken glass and slashed it at his leg, prompting him to release Amy. Amy then rolled across the floor and grabbed her gun. She pressed the trigger and sprayed the hall with bullets.
A couple of the bullets hit the leader's body as he slumped into the ground, blood already pouring out of his body. The assailant tried to move his body to take the gun, but Amy placed her leg on his body.
"Uno reverse, don't you think?" Amy smirked and sprayed the bullets in his face, completely obliterating his skull. Amy sighed and dropped to the ground. She had lost a considerable amount of blood, so she became sluggish.
She dropped the gun she was holding and tore one of the assailant's clothes and wrapped all the injured parts of her body and made her way outside.
Amy searched for a pharmacy around, but this was an abandoned street, so it was quite empty.
"I'm coming for you Henry," she said in gritted teeth.
