School resumed on the 23rd of the first month, and the Harts home was bustling with activity. Martha was dressing up Toby constantly gushing about how cute he was, Esther was staring at the mirror in her room and kept muttering to herself "I need to put on more makeup on this site", and Nicolas was happy that he was going back to school after a long break.
James however, was not too enthusiastic about resuming school. Going outside that door overwhelms him with so many painful memories. He wore a clean tee-shirt and jeans, the exact ones her mom always dressed him on. He used to tell his mom to stop dressing him up, but right now, he was willing to spend a billion dollars even if it meant hugging his mother.
Right now, he was not able to go to the school his mom had admitted him to, because it was very far away from here, which made James depressed.
James quickly wiped the tears from his face and focused on wearing his clothes. Martha was going to admit him to a new school. He stared at the mirror and sighed. The boy he's looking at would have a lot to deal with in later years. He then took his backpack and left his room to the sitting room.
He entered the sitting room and sat on the sofa and waited for the rest to be done so that he would be driven to school. Now that James was thinking of it, he realized he had changed school, ChrisValle High school.
Martha finished preparing Toby and took him to the parlour. "Hurry up guys, or you'll be late for school!" she shouted over the stairs, before entering the sitting room.
When she saw James sitting, her emotions became complicated. Although she did not admit it, all these tribulations were caused by James, not that she will drive James out of her house though, but she knew that for her family to be safe, James got to go.
She shook those thoughts away, scolding herself for being so insensitive. She approached James and knell to his height. "Morning James, how was your night?" she asked smiling.
"Uhm, great I guess" James replied. Martha nodded and stared at him in the eyes "Are you ready for school, because if not I could still postpone—" James interrupted her "No I'm fine. I mean, how am I going to recover if I don't go out more often, right" James mildly protests.
Staying at home was already too depressing for him, so going out to school might just be enough for him to recover from his depression.
'Wow, this kid is unique. Other kids his age would be bawling their eyes out when they learned about their parent's death, but James…' Martha wondered in her heart.
A couple of minutes later, the family was already done. They headed to the dining section of the sitting room to have their breakfast. After that, they packed their plates to the kitchen and headed to the car.
Martha started the engine of the jeep and drove out of the estate to the road. "Due to the area we currently live at, the school trip would be a long ride, so rest your eyes if you didn't sleep well," Martha said as she took a glance at James who was sitting in the back.
"Like how much time are we spending on the road?" Esther, who was at the front queried. "Well, let's just say about 30 minutes give or take," Martha said while steering the car to the left. Esther groaned and slammed her head to the headrest.
25 minutes later, Martha dropped Nicolas, Toby, Anthony and Esther at their schools, leaving only James in the car. Martha stared at James in the rearview mirror and said "Are you going to be okay there alone in this school? I've read about this school online, and I'll vouch that it is one of the best schools here in Boston.
James nodded and smiled, which greatly relieved Martha, as she was now able to fully focus on the road.
Ten minutes later, Martha arrived at the school James was about to admit to. James stared out of the window and stared at the building. 'I cannot imagine that this is my third time changing schools again.' James thought.
The school was very decent, at least not as luxurious as ChrisValle High School, but above average when it comes to the architecture of the building. The school also have a garden, but it was split into two, one on the left and the other on the right.
James entered the gate of the school and saw students walking here and there. Wow, these students appear wealthy, James wondered as he saw a senior student flexing with the latest iPhone in the market. James saw three very pretty girls walking together and giggling as they passed James. This school was a junior and senior mix.
James became slightly overwhelmed, so he subconsciously held Martha's hand tightly. Martha looked at him and nodded understandably. "It's okay James" Martha whispered at James smiling.

Much to James relief, the admission to the school went without any issues, the only thing they needed was a little examination, which was taken in less than five minutes. After that, they gave James his new uniform.
"Welcome to Unity High School, Mr Smith. Would you like to start right now, or tomorrow? Any of these times would be fine" the Principal shook James' hands and asked Martha.
"I don't know, it's up to him. James, would you like to start now, or tomorrow?" Martha asked, facing him. "Yes aunt, I would like to start now." James agreed immediately. The principal nodded and gestured on James to the dressing room to wear his new uniform.
James closed the door of the dressing room and sighed. He removed his tee-shirt, revealing his singlet and wore the uniform. He stared at the mirror and looked at himself from different angles. James then promptly went out of the dressing room and to the principal, but Martha was no longer in the office.
The principal then stood up from his seat and walked James to his new class. "This is going to be your new class, come in" the principal urged James.
