Hailey woke up that morning looking for Jeremy. She went downstairs. He wasn't there.
"Where could he be?" She wondered. He wasn't in the bedroom. He wasn't downstairs either and his car was parked outside. She went upstairs and entered the library. She met him sitting down studying.
"Good morning Jeremy!" She greeted him with a huge smile. Her teeth, white as ever. He observed her. It seems she was really in a very good mood today!
"Good morning Hailey. How was your night?" He asked.
"It was awesome!"
"I can see that with your radiating smile!" He continued reading.
"Are you gonna sit here all day studying?"
"Yes miss, I'm trying to get an information which is necessary for the hospital."
"How important is it?"
"Trust me, you wouldn't understand!"
"Well, make me understand!" She looked at him inquisitively. He gritted his teeth and grunted in frustration.
"Hailey, I ain't got time to explain. Please I'd like to be alone so I can study this whole book!" He pointed at the big book on the table.
"Oh okay! I'm sorry I bothered you!" She replied and left the library, he sighed.
She went upstairs to freshen up. She her bathe and got dressed up. Breakfast was ready but Jeremy had no interest in eating. Hailey had to have breakfast alone. She didn't bother him again. It seems he was really occupied with that study of his.
After breakfast, she went to the garden. She sat on a chair in the garden enjoying the fresh scent of the flowers in the garden. She spent a long time in the garden. When she got back to the house, Jeremy hadn't come out from the library. She sighed when the maid told her he hadn't come out. She rested her head on a pillow in the living room.
Meanwhile, Dr and Mrs Roberts were enjoying their quiet time together watching a movie. It was a comedy series. Dr Roberts didn't go to work that day. He decided to spend the day with his wife.
"Have you heard from Hailey lately?" He asked.
"No I haven't dear. She didn't even bother to call me!" She responded to his question.
"She must be enjoying herself with Jeremy and that's why she hasn't called any of us. I always knew they would get along. Don't bother her dear. We'll hear from her in due time." He assured her.
"Okay, if you say so!" They continued watching the television.
Just then, they heard the door bell ring. A maid went to answer it. She welcomed the young lady into the house and also helped her with her luggage.
The young lady entered the living room and met the old couple watching the television.
"Guess who's home?" Her voice echoed. They looked back to see who it was.
