Lisa and Chris were watching the projection of events on mars with a mixture of fear and awe. Lisa had spent a month with Null and had no idea he was capable of this level of destruction or that he could be so cold. When she saw the level of torture that Jania had suffered, her moral objections to Null actions were shaken. She didn't know if Null actions were right or wrong, but she could understand them.
"Mum, did you know?" Lisa was pained by the uncertainty in Chris's voice when he asked the question.
Zero answered for her. "Of course she didn't, otherwise she would be dead right now" the lack of emotion in the statement just reminded both of them they were dealing with someone who wasn't human.
Chris was cautious but still curious so he decided to ask Zero a question. "Why doesn't that black thing kill everyone?"
"That black thing is the ability of the Angel of Death. It is called God's Wrath. It judges the victim and if they are found to have evil intent it kills them. What criteria it uses to define evil intent is still unclear."
Null had judged everyone in the dome and was now processing all his gains. All those that had passed judgement were trying to get away from the monster child and Null saw no need to stop them.

Upon completing the mission he received two rewards. The first was an upgrade to apprentice true magic-user once he completed the upgrade mission of creating a spell that uses 2 different affinities. The second reward was a new class assigned by the system. He wasn't very appreciative of the system sense of humour but he hoped that Nullification ability was at least useful.
He had tried to get a description of the class but the system remained silent. He also check to see if the library had any 2 affinity spells available but they were locked until he had upgraded to apprentice.
Null was about to relax when the voice of the universe sudden changed, it had become so loud and out of harmony. He attempted to block the sound by putting his hand over his ears but it wasn't physical. The sound was so loud it was physically painful for Null.
He knew that the enforcer had to be arriving as the only thing that could affect the voice of the universe was field manipulation. He was ready to accept the consequences of his actions. He felt completely justified. A portal slowly started to open up inside the dome.
Null wondered about something, the system didn't describe what the ability Nullification does, but from its name alone he had a fair idea. He used the ability on the portal and it collapsed. He knew it, it did Nullify spells. Sadly it seemed that he wouldn't be using it again for a while.
**Alterran Ability: Nullification disabled 20 hours**
Back on The Watcher ship alarms were going off.
"What are those alarms?" asked Lisa
"Nothing, don't worry about it" but that wasn't true, his ship had detected the Alterran ability. All high ranking races had Alterran detectors. There was no way to hide this from the council. The Watcher didn't know the details but he knew anything Alterran spooked the council and they would send out Elite enforcers if any were detected.
The Watcher decided it was time to pull Null back to the ship so he could control the introductions with the enforcers and intervene if needed.
Null received the message from Zero that he had to return immediately but he wanted to finish his show.
"Divine Justice complete. Remember we are always watching" and with that, he made a big show of opening up his portal and returning to the ship.
The video and news of the massacre at Mars quickly spread throughout the solar systems. Planets and Stations descended into chaos. The Abrahamic religions each claimed the Angel as theirs and that it was evident they were the one true religion. Religions gathering and counter gathering quickly turn into violent riots.
In the hours after the massacre the leader of a solar assembly addressed the solar system and tried to explain that boy was not an Angel but some type of advanced experiment. He didn't give out any details or provide any evidence. This only further inflamed the situation.
The faction leaders were having a conference call using the device that was created by Null. Trying to discuss the best to navigate the situation when another figure joined the conference call.
"Using the devices that my son created, even after you all conspired to keep him imprisoned. He is right, human hubris really does know no bounds." The last thing any of the faction leaders saw was a strange ball of concentric rings.
The Watcher then teleported each of the devices back to his ship. It was now time for him and Null to face their consequences.
