Eli was led to the living room and was asked to wait for the boss. 'I didn't come here to meet the boss. or could it be that Joseph is the boss?' she was finding it hard to believe that this... this big beautiful house belongs to him, even Lana's house can not be compare with it. 'or maybe he is a servant' she again thought and quickly pushed the thought away, she decided to wait for the boss before she ask after him.
Jeffrey aka Joseph walked quietly to her as she was lost in her though, "Hey" he gently called.
Thinking it was the boss, she stood up and turned around to be faced with Joseph. Earlier Joseph walked over from behind her as that's where his study room faced. Eli could not believe it, 'dont tell me he is the boss' 'woah he is so handsome, perfect for a boyfriend' she shook her head and chastised herself. Her cheeks had a hint of red on them as she tried to conceal the blush. 'She look cute trying to conceal the already present blush on her face' Jeffrey couldn't help but be amused.
"Good morning Mr Joseph" She greeted, thankfully she didn't stammer.
"Good morning Elena" He greeted back. "Sit"
They sat opposite each other. "You wanted to see me" He began the conversation as she was struggling with how to begin.
"Yeah. About the letter you sent" Eli started and saw him nod. "What about the letter" he urged her to continue.
"em... the letter is kinda freaking me out so.... can you tell me what it actually meant and why you sent the letter?" She felt chill run down her spin at the thought of danger. This was not the first time.
"It was just a reminder" he paused to gage her expression, he saw confusion swirling around her face. "You will count yourself lucky soon. There's a love trail awaiting you and you gat to be careful." He believed his words will give her heads on on what is about to come, unfortunately it didn't, this time the expression on the face was like a whirlwind, all sort of expression was seen on her face, from confusion to fear to anger and worry and then it seem like she understood but then she ended up being more confused.
"You need time to process what I've told you so far. If you ever need help you can always come to me." Joseph said and stood up, Eli followed his cue and stood up, "Yeah. I'll be sure to ask for your help if I ever need one" she smiled at him and slightly bowed at him, "Have a good day" She didn't know what got into her to bow, he looked very young and she didn't plan on bowing to anyone, but something was forcing her to do that. She called him 'Mr Joseph' because he is the boss here. Eli absent-mindedly walked out from the house and almost bumped her head to the wall, she decided not to think about it until she got home.

On getting home, she felt something odd about the house, it was eerily quite and the air around the house wasn't in any way conducive. Something is not right here, it wasn't like this when she left it. Heading into the house, faint smell of blood wafted out, bracing herself for what is to come, she pushed the door open and got inside. The faint odour she smelt earlier now seem so strong that she had to cover her nose. "Aunt Mary" She called in a whispered voice, she ran up to Aunt Mary's room, and she couldn't find her there. Eli began anxious as fear started gripping her heart, "Aunt Mary!" she ran to the kitchen and found Aunt Mary's dead body drench in her blood. "No. No. No!!!" Eli felt her world crumble. 'How could this have happened' "Aunt Mary, listen to me you have to wake up, see I finally found Joseph. I promised to cook you your favorite meal, so you have to wake to eat." All the effort she made to wake her up was in vain and then it dawned on her that she will never be able to see her Aunt Mary again. "No!!!!!!" she screamed at the top of her voice. Bracing herself, she took in a deep breath.

After digging deep into the ground, she rolled Aunt Mary's dead body over and gently pushed it in. Who would have thought she would be the one to dig her Aunt Mary's grave. "Who ever did this to you.. I Know you're dead because of me, and I promise to make it up to you. To take revenge for you." She wiped her tears and began filling the pit with sand. It was 3am in the morning and she got to be fast. After successfully covering the grave, she went back into the house and packed few of her clothes and left.
She didn't know where to go but she was ready to take the risk, she remembered Lana telling her she now live in the same city as her but couldn't visit because of work. She decided to call her friend.
