She exclaimed, staring at the cold hearted weird CEO.
He stood up and walked to the book shelf in his office, picked up a book and handed it to her. "Your things will be transferred here in no less than an hour. You have to finish reading this book before Friday." He said conclusively.
Eli felt like cursing at this man. What an evil man he is.
"But sir, today is Wednesday and there's no way I can finish reading it before Friday." She complained hoping he would reconsider, but unfortunately for her, the devil was hell bent on giving her sleepless nights. 'Uh...'
"I know." 'What have I done wrong' His curt reply brought fear of what he will do to her if she doesn't finish reading the book before the said day, confusion, helplessness and anger. 'How the hell will she finish it before Friday.' She felt like strangling this man to death.
"Take a day off and resume tomorrow. You may leave." The cruel CEO dismissed her. Eli grunted as she walked out of the office.
Though, he's good at what he do and very good at his profession. He has saved a lot of lives. There are some patients that other doctors refuse to operate on, such are the complicated ones or probably the ones they deem lost case, The weird CEO doctor will carry out the surgery and it will always be successful. There are only few who had died while he was operating on them which she knew of. And this few unsuccessful ones was actually a lost case, some of them have done a lot of surgeries before coming to him for amendments which is extremely dangerous.
Eli felt that this man was good to patients only. And he is a devil in angel's clothing. "What a weird man." She muttered as she made her way to the Manager's office to pack her things and go home.

At the other side of the city, in a magnificent building eluding elegance and wealth sat a man on a couch, wearing black shirt over black trousers, he was so beautiful, so surreal, out of the world beauty. He had green eyes, high cheekbone with jaws that were so straight, black raven, midnight hair that cascaded over his shoulders. Opposite him Sat Fredrick.
"The poor thing doesn't even know who he is." Commented Fredrick.
"He will soon." Jeffrey breathed.
"Unfortunately, the little one's destiny has been drafted and set." Fredrick commented.
"You need to send him back."
"I will, in a few days." Fredrick said scratching the back of his neck.
"Do it tomorrow. That's the safest time to send him back." Jeff said leaving no room for argument.
"Alright." Fred exhaled. It has been so damn hard for him to control the. boy's powers without causing havoc or disrupting anything. 'Unfortunately for him, the future will put him on his toes, which he knows. "What about the girl." He asked now referring tho Elena.
"It all depends on her - her happiness and sorrow depends on the decision she makes." He replied indifferently.
"You should help her. She has suffered mentally and ...."
"I know." Came his curt reply.

Eli felt that all luck left her. Truely she had a sleepless night.
The next morning she was totally tired and drained, She wasn't even able to close her eyes. She got dressed despite the refusal of her body.
She got to work looking like shit, even the patients she passed on her way were more in order than herself. She thought to her self and made her way to the CEO'S office.
The CEO sat behind his desk signing some documents when she walked in. He didn't need to raise his head to know she is the one.
He raised his head and looked at her, her face was funny and he had the urge to laugh. He was finding it pretty hard to hold it in. "You shouldn't have come." He said to which she frowned probably cursing him.
"You asked me to resume work today."
"I did?" He asked innocently. Eli felt like banging his head and kick his ass real hard.
"Take a day off." huh? Is this man nuts. Eli thought, "uh...Sir I don't understand"
"I don't know if your ears are malfunctioning or it's just you being dumb." He taunted her. He knew the poor one would be cursing him more now, but what could he do? he really enjoys poking fun at her.
