Alicia moaned as she felt the softness of the bed, she reached for the pillow to grab it and pull it closer to her. Everything just felt surreal, how she wished she could sleep on this bed forever without having to wake up. But then realizing something, her eyes opened to gaze at the ceiling, grabbing her head with both her hands she slowly sat up on the bed as she looked around, how come she was here?
In fact where was she? the room she woke up in was painted in black and red that made it seem creepy to her, oh no! isn't she in the master's bedroom?
Scanning the room, she could tell it belonged to Asher because of how large it was, but the room was dark just like him. 'Seriously, doesn't he even like any color apart from black?' she asked herself, the exterior part of the mansion was painted black, his room black, even the clothes he wore were always black, his soul also was black! Just what kind of a man was he? she asked herself as she scurried away from the bed.
As much as she wanted to enjoy the softness, she just had to get up before that Master of her's find her here, wait... wasn't he the one who brought her here? to do what?
"Meow" There came the sound of Asher's cat as it jumped down from the cupboard startling Alicia.
'Okay, get your mind straight, where is the door?" She asked herself as her eyes scrutinized the entire room but because it was dark and the room also was dark it was hard to find the door.
"I can see that you are awake" Mumbled Asher as he got out of his bath with his body dripping with water, his dark robe was loosely tied around his side but Alicia could still see that hard and firm muscle of his, just how many times did he workout to get his body in this shape?
"Uhmm ... yes... I would like to take my leave now" Said Alicia as she quickly ran towards one direction of the room, she thought it was the door but she grumbles when her head it the wall hard.
"The door is that way" responded Asher in his husky tone, he looked slightly annoyed at her as if she was disturbing his peace.
"Okay thank you sir and by the way have you eaten?" she foolishly asked him.
Asher eyes narrowed at her as he inquired, "When did you have the time to prepare food when I found you laying on the ground there?"
'Damn him!' Alicia cursed him in her mind, of course Lisa must have prepared food when she got home but Alicia herself wasn't at home to prepare it because she had branched somewhere else instead of coming into the mansion. And it was only her and him that was at home, at least that was what Asher thought, unless there was a third party here that was helping her without him knowing. No wonder why she was quick when finishing her chores, that means someone must have been helping her!
"Uhmm... I you see, I prepared the food before leaving the man-"
"You cannot leave because the key is with me, now tell me how the food would have been prepared if you were out?" Demanded Asher with his probing gaze fixed on her, he was turning angry to think that someone else was here with the two of them without his notice.
"But I left when I wanted to go to the market, the same way I left when I finished preparing the food" Alicia lied to him but he was no fool to be deceived.
"When you left that time, the gate automatically locked when you returned from the market it was still locked so how did you get out?" He asked again as he looked at his nails which was longer than usual, his eyes fluctuating between green and read as if his lycan mode was just turned on.
As Alicia was racking her head for what to say, Lisa while in the kitchen mistakenly dropped something and that made a noise that was loud enough for Alicia and Asher to hear. Alicia's eyes darted towards the direction of the kitchen as she silently prayed that Asher would ignore what he heard but the man didn't. He saw that she was anxious and that convinced him into believing that, someone else was here.
Walking with heavy steps, he made his way towards the door in an attempt to catch the other person who made noise, Alicia blocked his way.
"Uhm... I remember no-"
"Get out of my way!" he barked at her, he knew she was hiding something and he was eager to find that thing or person to be precise and punish them both.
Alicia's mind was in turmoil, if Asher went downstairs to find out that there was another woman in the mansion, not only her but Lisa would be done for. And she had seen the way he had punished her before by twisting her arm, she wouldn't like to ever experience it again,it felt like he wanted to rip her bones out of their socket. She looked up to see his face marred with a frown, even his eyes had turned red which made her wonder what had happened to him to change his eye color, she wasn't aware that she was living with a night creature, a lycan.
His green eyes had turned red and his nails longer than usual, he looked terrifying which made Alicia gulp, was he that angry but she too couldn't let him go out to catch Lisa and punish the woman. she had to think of an idea, fast and quick that would save herself and Lisa from his wrath.
"Alicia, get out of my way!" Asher warned with his voice hard and firm like he had no time for argument. Seeing the girl bit budge, he was about to grab her arm and throw her away to a corner of the room when he saw her face coming closer to his with such rapid speed that he couldn't even stop her from landing her lips on his and wrapping her arms around his strong neck.
Alicia couldn't think of any other way than to kiss her master and divert his attention towards her, she knew that the step she took now was grave and she would be severely punished for doing it but something in her mind told her not to back down that this was the only way out so she did it anyway, she leaned closer to his face and pressed her lips against his while wrapping her arms around his neck for support.
