While Hein had entered the village he thought of searching for inn to stay the night. Hein walked towards the circle where the huge tree was situated there was a notice board nearby, the board had various pamplets on it from which some were about work opportunities, travel roads and many were about news and orders or rules which the kingdom has applied currently.
Hein looked at the notice board for any inns to stay in. Hein looked at the board and the prices of various things on it and looked at his money he had, all he had were coins and assumed that this civilization had developed till coins and didn't thought of bringing cash notes as currency. He saw his money he compared the prices of the things and saw that he had al lot less money, the economy he assumed was as
An average ride to next town costed around a 10 silver coin , food for lunch or dinner costed around 2 silver , swords and armour ranged from all prices from bronze coins to gold coins which was flexible enough for anyone to buy of their choice. The price at the inn or one night costed around 12 bronze coins which was equal to 1.2 silver coin.
Hein had a gold coin and a couple of bronze which was not enough for him to play his plan, thinking about it and considering it later on he first booked a room at the nearest inn he found on the board.
After entering the room he noticed that the room was pretty well maintained as not much people usually come and when people come they are been welcomed gratefully.
He had a bathroom and a room with bed a table and chair as any common room but something different as there was a inventory shelf which could be used by adventurers for keeping their sword and equipments.
After settling he bathed and relaxed on the bed and decided to get some food before sleep, Hein moved out of the room after a while towards the food court at the bottom of the inn.
While moving downwards on stairs suddenly the ground shook and Hein slipped on it and fell rushing towards the ground on a guy walking by they both collided and fell on each other handling themselves up they both stood up Hein looked at him. Apparently he looked like an veteran fighter as he had many scars and a well maintained body.
Hein asked the guy what had happened to which he knew nothing and was in the same situation as Hein. The ground stopped moving vigorsly and everything had calmed down everyone stood up and started talking about it nobody knowing what had happened everybody went back to the flow of their work after some hours the guard were in a rush and not in a time to talk to anyone.
Hein continued to get his his dinner and went back to sleep thinking about it the next morning. Later that night earthquakes continued for a few couple of time and silenced in the end. Noise of guards and their armour clashing while running continued. Hein had a hard night sleeping.
Later that morning, Hein moved out checking for situation and planning to move towards the guild for renewal of the card he had. The morning being a little hazy and cloudy and busy with people rushing Hein moved to the guild, when he reached the entrance he had met the same guy as the night standing beside the door talking to some people Hein tried to moved inside but was stopped by the guy saying -
" Oh hello we meet again, it is nice to meet you"
With Hein smilling towards the guy he continued to speak
" Have heard about the earthquakes?
It is said that they were more intense in the nearby town and the epicenter was in middle of our and the nearby town.
While some guards and mages by the guild were sent to investigate they came injured saying that a mysterious runes had opened up from below the ground with pretty high level monster everywhere."
Hearing all this Hein didn't spoke a word and continued to listen
"By the way sorry for my late introduction, I'm Walter Weinberg, an adventurer."
To which Hein replied -
"Nice to meet Mr.Walter, I'm Lugh , same an adventurer as well" with a gentle smile.
Hein and Walter discussed for a while by which Hein got a lot of information about the current political and economical condition.
After a while Hein walked inside it was a decent guild with medium ranked adventurers everywhere. He moved towards the receptionist and asked for the renewal of his card but without an address and last name. Hein continued as his plan succeeded of fake renewal of card move towards checking his attributes as he was not a human he moved towards the orb which the receptionist as lead him to and place his hand on it releasing his mana the orb turned black stunning the receptionist and saying that it showed the weirdest activity turning the shape of the orb from glass solid to a gloopy slime maintaining its shape Hein quickly removed his hand from the orb restoring it back to its original state and color the receptionist didn't knew what had happened and hein quickly avoiding the question leaving with his renewed card saying thank you politely. He quickly left the reception to the main hall for looking at the notice board for some jobs he could earn of.
The jobs of his ranks were very small and paid in bronze which was not enough.
Suddenly a guard came rushing with a bunch of new quests which he slammed on the giant table nearby attracting the crowd of fights nearby with Hein in it. Hein looked at them as he saw there was no rank limit to join and recommendation was of A rank all quests which sacred the most crowd but the rewards kept the attracted, the rewards were in gold and armours with various abilities.
Hein took the job which most took which was '"To investigate the runes'" which had a decent pay an less trouble.
