As the two professors arrived at the door to the infirmary the Head doctor came straight to them, "Come with me." He turned around without saying another word and walked off so quickly the two professor's had to jog to keep up with him. The Head doctor went into the room that Sasori was staying in, and the two professors followed in behind him.
What they saw before there own eyes was hard to believe. Sasori was sitting on the bed with all the bandages lying on the ground. His body was completely fine, and no injuries or scars were visible to any of the three men in the room. Professor Nara looked at Professor O'Brien, "I thought you said there were holes in him and that he was on death's door. What is going on here?"
"I don't know" The flabbergasted professor said. He couldn't believe his eyes and was rubbing them constantly to make sure he wasn't seeing things. He even pinched his arm to see if he was dreaming. "I don't understand doctor. You said he was in a terrible condition, and I saw for myself that he had holes in his body and that there was blood gushing out of them. How do you explain this?"
"I honestly can't." The doctor sighed. He would have liked to take credit for such a swift recovery of a boy near death, but he had no idea what had caused such a recovery. "I left after you ran out and told the nurses to change his bandages again as they were full of blood and then one of them told me to come and I saw him with no injuries and no tissue damage. I'm honestly lost for words and can't think of another explanation except a miracle provided from the gods."
The two professors looked at each other and then searched there brains for a more logical answer but couldn't come up with one. Their minds just kept directing them back to the Head doctor's words about a miracle. "There must be some reason for this. Have you done any diagnostic spells on him?" Professor Nara said as he stepped forward to perform his own diagnostic spell, Apollo's Sight.
"No, he hasn't yet. The nurses are still tired from using magic nonstop earlier to keep him alive." Professor Nara placed his left hand on Sasori's left shoulder and his right thumb on Sasori's forehead. His hands lit up along with his eyes and then the light travelled into Sasori's body. To the two people watching they could only see a glowing body but for Professor Nara, he was now able to see everything within Sasori's body right down to the cells of the organs.
He never went that far though because the last time he attempted it he had such a headache, because of the overload in information, that he didn't leave his head for a weak as the pain was so intense. He hadn't figured out how to single out what he wanted to see and ignore yet, so he only stayed at the organ level.
The professor scanned Sasori from head to toe to make sure he didn't miss a spot. He focused on the areas where the holes supposedly were, but he saw no evidence of any injury to those spots or any evidence of excessive blood loss except for the bandages soaked in it. "This doesn't make any sense. He is perfectly normal and there is no trauma or evidence of an injury like you described or any injury in fact."
"His body is in perfect health, like beyond perfect. I have never seen anyone who's body was so healthy and normal. He has no damage to his kidney's, his liver, his lungs, or his heart. His eyes are good and ears too. It doesn't make sense for someone to have such good health, because there is no such thing as perfect living. Everyone has something they have to deal with but for him there is nothing."
The Head doctor and Professor O'Brien stood there in shock. It was unheard of, but Professor Nara was telling them, so they were inclined to believe him. He had never been wrong before about any of his assessments of his patients so they took his word at face value even though the man who said it couldn't believe it himself.
'I need to speak with Mrs Ferg again. Who were those people at that village and how can they achieve something like this? With such magic we could help save many patients lives and put an end to diseases that plague our society on the other hand I don't know their motives and what their objectives are so I should tread lightly. There is also the threat of a mole in the school along with that other medic. I can't trust anyone right now, so I'll keep this too myself.'
"Um, I don't mean to bother anyone, but could you tell me what happened to me and how I got here?" Sasori said to the three men who were all lost in their own thoughts. They turned to him and then looked at each other. Professor O'Brien then lied through his teeth and said that he got knocked out during his match with Jacob, but he couldn't even remember that, so they moved on from the topic and allowed him to get some rest.
At the end of the day Sasori was sent back to his dormitory after Professor Nara had continuously monitored his condition and found no problems with him. Professor O'Brien escorted him back to the dormitory and was always looking over his shoulder and checking their surroundings the whole way back. Sasori noticed but ignored it as it was already late, and the school had recently been under attack, so he thought it was standard procedure.
When they got back Mrs Ferg was waiting at the door for them. Professor O'Brien wanted to ask so many questions but decided the time wasn't right and took his leave once Sasori was inside. Jacob, Marcus and Jay were waiting on the couches for him to come back and when he arrived they got up quickly to see if he was alright.
"Where have you been. Jacob said you disappeared after your match, and no one knew where you were, so we got worried." Jay was on the verge of tears as he was so worried about his best friend. Sasori just smiled it off while his friend embraced him with a hug.
"I don't really know what happened. All I know is what the professors told me. They said Jacob knocked me out during our match and that they were concerned I had internal damage but after being checked multiple times they came to the conclusion that I was alright to come back." Jacob was shocked at his words but didn't allow it to show on his face.
'He was definitely not knocked out. I was losing that match. How could the professors say something like that? There must be something else going on behind the scenes. I need to talk to them, but they will probably just ignore me and brush it off. I guess the official story is that I won and knocked him out. I don't like that. I don't like losing to someone and then getting called the winner.' Jacob was frustrated and angry but decided to contain it within himself.
