Chapter 44 - 4.10 : NOTHING.

We were right in front of a bar. A shady one, if I may put down my impressions out. We both were staring at it while I was still carrying her on my back. There was no one around. And it seems that she got engulfed in the discovery of the place that called out for us that she didn't even bother about her own actions. Instead of asking me to put her down, she was just leaning in closer and looking at the minute details.

Well, that certainly wasn't a bad thing whatsoever. The only problem was, there was something soft pressing against my back now. All this while, whenever I came in contact with those squishy melons, I would just think of them as lumps of fat and dial it down. Of course, as a healthy man, I was intrigued by them. But I certainly couldn't cross the line whatsoever.

Today, in this cold weather though, it was a different case. I couldn't think clearly, and so, I was even more susceptible to the soft feeling of her ample bosom. And every time she leaned in to ask me something, or whisper into my ear, combined with that sweet scent and hot air that blew into my ear, I was losing it. Of course, it was offering body heat, so there wasn't anything bad about it. Except I'm losing control over myself.

"...Axel? Are you listening? What's wrong? You seem sick."

"You know...for a while now..." I was panting. Gasping for breath. I was dying to say something. But I couldn't think straight. "For a while now...I can feel them..."

"Feel what?"

"Your chest. I can feel it on my back. And I'm going to be brutally honest. It's giving me a lot of wild ideas."

"Huh?" She seemed flustered, and the moment she realized that she tried to move away from me, but reluctantly came even closer towards me, pressing them ever so tightly! "Well, I don't mind. It's cold out here. And so are you. I wouldn't mind if it was you." She covered her face with the lavender scarf around her neck, only showing her eyes which showed a glimpse of her shyness before she averted them away.

"You do say that but please do bear in mind that I am a healthy boy, alright? Even I react to things like this. Wait, that doesn't sound right. Let me rephrase it. What I mean is, even I'm conscious of such erotic stuff."

"So you mean you're conscious of me as a woman?" Normally, one would have sounded shocked, and scared, when they heard something like that from a guy like me. But instead, she sounded curious. As though she really wanted to know whether I was interested in her or not. "And on that note, how lewd are your thoughts?"

"Well, obliviously I do. I mean come on! The way you are, the right height with the adequate weight culminating in an elegant body. Plus the soft, and silky skin, radiating even in this dark alleyway, and to top it off with blue eyes, and a blonde dye of hair, it's just... one look at you is just enough to have all the attention at your disposal...and meanwhile here I am, who's been close to you for a while now, so how wouldn't I? I am seriously conscious of you as a woman!"

Right! Do you know how ostrich throw insert their head into the ground? I want to do that now. Really! I'm serious. Here I was, trying to build a character who just didn't have anything to do with life, and when I was at the pinnacle of success, this girl entered my life like a hurricane and changed it forever. And now, I've softened up to the point where I'm leaking a lot of openings.

"I see...That's good to know then."

"Yes, now you can avoid me knowing how well I'm into you, right?" I let out a dry chuckle. I wasn't expecting any reply in this awkward atmosphere that I created for myself.

"No, that's not it. To be honest, I'm happy. There's still someone that wants me, and not for the person that I play a part of, but for who I actually am. It's not tiring, and I can show my weak side to someone, and yet be accepted."

"Right, let's just pretend we didn't have this conversation."

"So, what happens in London stays in London?"

"Something like that."

"Fine."

"Well, that was easy."

"Well, I do have a heart you know? Besides, you're my boyfriend and you still haven't answered my question." She gave me a mischievous look, with a smile of joy on her face. Seriously, what did you accomplish that you're so proud of yourself?

"Seriously? What happened to the whole "What happens in London, stays in London?" thing?"

"Uh...We are still in London."

"Oh...Right! My bad." Alright, dear narrator, this is the right time for me to be hit by a truck. I'm ready for it...Any time now...Fuck! Can't you listen to my prayers once?

"Hey, don't go quiet on me all of a sudden." She started to move her body with the ultimate goal of annoying me. And she was clearly close. She stopped moving after a while. "Fine, if that's the case, then I'll force you to do so. You know, I can press them hard, and hold you tight, right?" She whispered into my ear.

Enough! I just dropped her on the ground.

"Agh!" I quicked put forward my hand, pulled her onto her feet, and covered her mouth while dragging her to the adjacent alleyway.

"Hush!" I put a finger on my lips and signaled her to be quiet. The muffled footsteps I heard followed us here. And it was heading straight towards the bar. The silhouette of a man passed by us. We waited in silence until he disappeared into the shadows.

"But why was he here?"
