Chapter 44 - Trust

Hena blinked at him, trying to understand. More importantly trying to breathe but something in her chest was constricting.

"She." It was a question. But you were scared to make it one. Scared of the answer.

"Yeah, Natalie." He replied, "Mark was side eyeing us as well. I feel good making this situation."

Hena thought that Luka was doing all of this to finally prove himself, but in the end, he was just trying to prove himself to everyone, not for her. That made her feel disappointed as hell.

What was more important for her was confirming their feelings together, but it appeared for him, it was just a game.

Not knowing what, whom, and why Hena felt disappointed, she breathed out deeply.

Oh yeah.

Yeah, that hurt her big time.

Ouch.
