"I want you not to think about all of this," Luka comforted her, hugging her tightly. "I am your safe space, someone who would only hold you and extend my hand. You can trust me with all of your problems and insecurities. I might not be able to solve all of them."
His words were sincere enough for her to believe him, she believed in his words because he was honest with himself. He couldn't hide any of the emotions he felt. There was nothing hidden between them. They knew each other well.
Her heart calmed down as she listened to Luka, but it also took its own path of wandering. A part of her was wondering why it was so easy for him to say these things. Why didn't he ever hesitate before saying something that important?
Finally for the first time in forever, Hena had felt that she could rely on someone. One thing he had constantly been doing was help her grow as a person, she thought she was strong enough, but she wasn't.
