Hena let out a tired sigh while she arranged the sheets on the bed she would sleep on. Since she was little she had always thought marriage was crap, thinking that she had to get married twice to a person she thought as someone who could help elevate her status. It was the same back when she was in the North Kingdom, she married a powerful noble just so that she could strengthen their family's royal blood.
It turned out she was kicked out of the kingdom when the South kingdom invaded hers, now she had decided to marry the vampire prince in the East Kingdom.
Although comparing it to her first marriage, it appeared that being married with him will be different than her first.
"Keep in mind that I trust you." He kissed her lips in a brief moment, "So you should do the same."
She was reminded again of his words. Hena didn't know but she felt reassured knowing how he acknowledged that they were in a position where anyone could ruin their reputation as the leaders of the East Kingdom.
