"What do you mean where villains are born?" Christopher asked out of curiosity as he didn't know what Jelal was talking about.
"You see Christopher people aren't actually born evil. Everyone is born the same. They're like a clean sheet of paper. The environment they're born into as well as the people around them determine how dirty or clean the paper is. You see, if there was to be a city where it was really easy for a paper to get dirty, it would most likely get dirty and the opposite spoiled. You see, you were born inside one of the clean cities where it's nearly impossible for you to get dirty. There are a couple cities across the world that are like that. They're guarded by the strongest heroes that the world has to offer so crime rate is low and the economy is good. However on the other hand, there are cities that exist where the opposite is true. You see, most villains were born inside cities where crime rate was high and violence as well. Drug abuse is a normal part of life along with poor living conditions. Gangs rule the city instead of the government and as such no one bothers to help them since it's seen that they're far gone so the situation gets worse and worse. To be frank, a lot of villains are born just like you or any other child. They're born clean but due to where they're born, they get dirty easily. At first they might have the urge to clean themselves up but after a while, they lose the motivation to clean themselves. Instead, they accept it for who they are. They stop rejecting that side of themselves sand the cycle of hate and violence continues. It's a rigged system to train villains. However there's a spectrum to this," Jelal continued to speak.
"There are cities where violence is high and other cities where it's lower. Both of them produce villains but the type of villains they create are much different from each other. It's a bit embarrassing for me to admit but the number 1 villain and I come from the same city. To go even further, that includes the entire top 100 villains in the world. We all from from a single city and the world does do anything about it," said Jelal with a sad face as he realized how unfair it was for him to grow up ina place where he was guaranteed to become a villain. Hearing those words though shocked Christopher as he wanted to know why nothing was being done to help that city.
"But why? If it's guaranteed that the greatest villains will all be born in that city, why doesn't the world do something about it?! Why doesn't it clean the city up? Build school and homes for people? I mean if it's possible to eliminate the most dangerous people in the world using the money that they pay small them heroes, why not do it? Isn't the goal of the world to eliminate heroes?" Christopher asked to which Jelal smiled as Christopher was finally getting there. He was starting to realize that the world isn't as pure as he thought and it started to show on his face as the colour in his eyes began to fade away as it dawned upon him why villains existed.
"Do you understand it now? Do you realize why villains exist?" Jelal asked to which Christopher nodded with tears in his eyes which he wiped away before speaking.
"Yes I do. Villains only exist to give a job to heroes. Without villains, heroes would have nothing so do and in turn lose their jobs. To add on, there would be no reason for people to abide by the law as heroes are quite literally the law. They apprehend anyone who doesn't abide by them. That includes other heroes and regular civilians. The only reason heroes are respected is because they are feared. The fear factor only comes in once heroes defeat a villain as if someone sees what heroes are capable of, they'll stay on their good side as they already know what would happen if they don't. It's all been rigged from the start. There was no way for me to win. I've lost," said Christopher as tears began to flow out of his eyes as he wasn't ready to accept defeat but he knew that he had no other option.
"No no, that's where you're wrong. You see, all of us have reached out limit. No matter how much we train, we won't be able to grow much more powerful than this. However you, you're born with an extreme amount of potential. You see, you have the potential to take down the number one hero along with anyone else who stands before you. You're not limited and have so much ahead of you. That's why I want you to train more and more. I want you to achieve a state where no one will be able to question you. All I ask in return is to destroy this villain and hero society. Create a world where villains won't be needed to create fear. Create a world where people can live freely. Create a world that will give people happiness. That's all I ask from you," said Jelal as a single drop left his eyes to which Christopher wiped away his own tear as and looked up at Jelal with eyes of determination before giving a strong nod.
"Great. Now let's stop slacking and get back to training," said Jelal however was interrupted by Christopher as he had one final question to ask.
"Sorry to ask but would it be okay for us to see the city you're from after I've finished this part of my training?" Christopher requested to which Jelal took a short pause before giving a reply.
"I don't know about that, it's pretty dangerous there. Even for you as you are now with your insane levels of speed might be too dangerous. How about we train a bit more sections of your body then we can go visit that city?" Jelal offered to which Christopher gave a lazy nod as if he had wanted something more but was still happy to settle for what he got.
