After coming to a realization that if he didn't do something, he would die, Christopher decided to get a hold of his emotions as if he didn't, he pick die in a matter of seconds or minutes if he was lucky. Either way, every second counted.
"I have to somehow manage to convince him to let me live. If I can't do that, I would be giving up my life for nothing. I need to do this or everything that's been built up to this point would have gone to waste," said Christopher to himself at which his nerves decided to calm themselves down so that he could concentrate and make an actual effort to survive.
"Well, I mean I understand what you mean but that's not really fair. Can't you at least allow me to just try this challenge?" said Christopher to which the voice let out a sigh like he didn't care.
"Look kid, many things in this world aren't fair. Just like how some are born filthy rich and how others die from starvation. Some people are born loved by many whole others are hunted down like animals for crimes that were committed by their predecessors. It doesn't matter who you are, luck doesn't always side with you and that's the sad truth. It seems like luck didn't side with you this time so your fate has been locked in. I'm sorry to inform you but you'll be dying here, there is no way that you'll manage to convince me to let you live," said the voice as he tried to sound resilient which did work as Christopher as starting to panick once again before taking a deep breath so that he could try something else.
"Okay, I've heard that your dungeon is famous for being impossible to clear, do you think that's true?" Christopher asked which seemed to have caught the attention of the voice that spoke to him as he had let out a different type of sound. One which signified that he was intrigued at what Christopher was getting at.
"Yes I do believe that information is true? So what about it? Are you saying that those rumours are a lie? If so, you've got a lot of nerve coming here," said the voice as he grew angrier which was the precise moment Christopher had won as the angrier a person got, the eaiser it was to manipulate their emotions which Christopher planned to do and managed to accomplish is goal as effectively as possible.
"Hey there, there's no need to get so angry. Look, I never said that your dungeon is easy to clear but I'm not saying that it's not easy to clear. The fact still remains that I haven't gotten a chance to go through it and from what I've heard, I believe that everyone is exaggerating and that this dungeon will be easy to clear. Well unless you believe otherwise and wish to prove me wrong," said Christopher which got the voice's blood boiling just like Christopher wanted.
"Oh it's interesting that you say that. How would you like to settle things? I'm going to embarrass you so badly that you wish you were dead! I'm going to make you take back those words in nothing more than an hour. You'll be crying for your mother to come help you," said the voice which everything was fine until the last sentence was uttered. Of course the voice had no choice of knowing that Christopher's mother was killed however that still struck a nerve which seemed to have silenced Christopher.
"Oh why are you quiet now? Don't think you'll be getting out of this so easily. How about I make you a deal that you want so badly. I'll do it just to prove to you how stupid you sound right now. If you want, all you have to do is defeat all the monsters in this dungeon without getting a single break and I'll let you leave this place without any problems. I mean if you can achieve that, I have the utmost respect for you. But that's if you manage to do so. You'll most likely die before you ever reach the half way point. So what do you say?" the voice asked to which Christopher gave a single nod while still staying quiet to which the voice began to let out a sinister laugh as the first monster appeared on the battle field which was an ugly green ogre that was at least 5 metres tall.
"And since you'll be fighting your matches one after another, you'll be fighting them all in this field to make things more efficient," said the voice as the green ogre began to run towards Christopher as if he was going to eat him instead single bite but Christopher didn't seem to even care.
"Well, I'm going to leave now. I'll check up on your dead corpse in about a month, good luck trying to stay alive while all those monsters try and kill you," said the voice before going quiet the moment before the ogre bit Christopher's head off.
"Burn!" Christopher yelled out to which the ogre's mouth instantly filled with orange flames before expanding to the rest of its body in a mere instant and burning the monster alive.
…
"I truly feel bad for that kid. He's going to die so young. Although he can only blame himself for training so hard. Well, there's no point is thinking about it so hard. He's going to die and there's nothing I can do except wiat. Well I could technically do something but I just don't want to," said the voice which was a figure who was in the dark before leaving the room he was in which looked to be a super advanced security with tons upon tons of buttons which all seems tk control something important with a multitude of cameras all analyzing Christopher's movements.
As for Christopher, he was busy letting out all his anger.
"Burn!"
"Burn!"
"Burn!"
"Burn!"
"Burn!"
"Burn!"
"Burn!"
"Burn!"
"Burn!"
"Burn!"
"Burn!"
"Burn!"
