Xaoi Shing's POV
I wake up when a bright light hits my eyes, using my arms to block the sun beam from my face. It took me a second when I realize that I'm in an unknown room. The room is filled with bright colors that matches perfectly. With an abstract painting that gives a positive vibes only added the beauty inside. Even the table is flawlessly shiny. I was still being mesmerized wit the whole room decorations when I hear a knock from the door. It slowly open with Ru Shi coming in while holding a tray of food walking closer to me.
"Good morning Shing-er. How's your sleep?"
"Good morning Ru Shi. I don't know what you're talking about. I was sleeping back then. How am I supposed to know?"
"Hahahaha silly. Anyway here's your breakfast in bed"
"Wow. It's so colorful. But you don't have to bother sending it of here. I'm not disabled you know. I can walk on my two feet"
"Haha I know. I just want serve you your meal. So that you won't tired yourself up. Eat it. You're so thin. I'm worried"
"You don't need to. I'm as strong as an ox. You can try it if you want hahaha"
"Sure, I'll see for my self how long can you last for later. So now eat you food"
"Thank you. Oh. Have you eaten as well?"
"Yes I have. No need to worry"
He messed up my hair while smiling sweetly. He's always the same big brother I used to have. Caring, loving and kind. A brother that you can always rely on. I was so thankful when I finally saw him again. Those years without him was like a storm in a morning dew.
"I'll leave you first and when I came back, I expect you already finished your food okay?"
"Sure hehe"
He lean closer to me and gave me a gentle kiss in the forehead. I was surprised with his sudden move and wasn't able to digest anything.

I watch him leave the room until he closes the door. That's when I finally understand that he cared for me too much. I know that we're not related by blood so it's not normal for him to kiss me like that. Or maybe he just did it unknowingly. I diverted my attention to the tray of food. There's a slice of apple, orange, grapes and even berries. There's also a meat that was expertly slice into dice with an aromatic sauce. It's so palatable that one will surely devour it all, licking the plate clean. There's also a glass of milk and water. Is he really planning to make me Finish the food? It's too much for my stomach to handle.
"I'm going to be a pig"
I took the spoon and started to dig in my food. Savoring every last taste. The meat was cooked nicely, not even greasy. It took me minutes to finally finished up my food. I rub my belly slowly. Its so big and round like I'm a pregnant person. I chuckled with my own thoughts when I suddenly remember Soffee.
(How is he? Is he alright? Did he also eat his breakfast? Will he be okay with LanYi around?)
I quickly search my phone and found it in the side table. I grab it and dialed LanYi's number. It rings a couple of times but no one answered. I suddenly felt panicked. LanYi usually answer my call with just a single ring but now...

I ended the call. With a sullen face, I get up the bed, carrying the tray of empty plate then leave the room. I found Ru Shi in the kitchen washing some the dishes. He's wearing pink apron. I went near him and place the tray in the sink. He looked at me with a confused look written over his face.
"Did something happen? Don't you like the food? I can make you one right away"
"Oh no no. The food it good actually. Just. I'm just worried"
"About?"
"Soffee. I called LanYi earlier but he didn't answer my call. He's not usually like that"
"Is LanYi in your apartment?"
"Yes. I asked him to take care of Soffee while I'm gone but he---"
"Don't worry. I know his been taking good care of your (damn) dog. Or maybe they're playing outside and forgot to bring his phone that's why he didn't answer"
"I.... I guess. Soffee is so cute and lovely. Maybe they're comfortable with each other"
"mmmm To make you less worry, try to call him again later"
"Okay"
He took the tray and wash it off. I walk to the table and sit in the chair waiting him to finished his business. I was observing his back. Even with clothes, his muscles are still visible.
(Broad shoulders)
"What did you say Shing-er?"
"Huh? Say what?"
"You just said broad shoulders. Is my body your liking?"
"Oh no you misheard me. I didn't say broad shoulders. I said bright sunlight hehehe"
"Really? But I really heard it's---"
"Haha nonsense. I never said that"
(he heard me)
"Hahahah okay if you say so. Your reaction is way too cute"
"Teasing me? Early in the morning?"
"I can tease you anytime"
"Big baby bully"
"I can show you my body if you want. Or my whole naked body if you like *wink*"
"Haha stop that. My body is way nicer than yours"
"Sure. Can you show me then?".
"No way. You'll envy me"
"I won't but I'll love it instead"
"Seriously?"
"Yup. So, will you show me then?"
"No"
"I'll make sure you will"

Our time run as quickly as the sugar melt. The kitchen was filled with laughter. I missed this kind of moment. Laughing at your heart's content without care about the word. Ru Shi continued teasing me when his phone suddenly rang.
"Wait a moment, I'll answer it"
"Go on"
He run quickly to the living room, leaving me behind in the kitchen when a plain face. Seconds later he came back with a phone in his hands.
"For you Shing-er. It's LanYi"
I quickly stand up and get near RU SHI, grabbing his phone and put it next to my ear. At first, I hear a faint hum over the phone, then a sudden scream echoed in the next line making me take the phone away from my ear.
"hello? LanYi? are you okay? hello?"
LanYi: " Little Shing Shing, there's.... there's a monster in your apartment"
"what monsters?"
LanYi: " There's a man, a dog, a dog man. I ..I don't know how to explain it. but there's something else here. He's inside your room. CALL A MONK QUICK WE NEED TO VANISHED THIS EVIL BEING"
"Slowdown LanYi. What man? what monk? I don't understand"
LanYi: "When I get inside your apartment, I found your kitchen a mess. A terrifying mess. So I decided to clean it up. Then when I was cleaning your living room a man with a dog ears suddenly come out from your room. I scream hysterically. Then he throw me your favorite anime figure. When I woke up, I was tied up and was covered with blanket and when i finally able to take it away I saw a candle lighting all over my side. It was so horrible then I---- AAAAAHHHH HE'S HERE, HE'S HERE. HE COME OUT AGAIN.. IM GOING TO DIE, HELP AAAAAAAAHHHHHHHH"

"hello? LanYi? hello?"
The call suddenly cut down. I face Ru Shi with a frown. He's been listening to me the whole time.
"what did LanYi say?"
"I ...I guess I have to go back home? My apartment is a mess right now"
"what do you mean?"
"I need to check it out. LanYi is--"
"Where going now"
"But what about the---"
"There's always a next time"
"I'm sorry"
"Silly, it's not your fault. Don't blame yourself"
We immediately went to the garage were his car was parked. He open the front seat for me and close it when I finally get inside. He then went to the driver's seat and started the engine. We're now heading back to the city.
