Uncle Ben's POV
I smash the door out as I was knocking into it the whole time but no one opens the door. I could even hear faint noises coming inside. The door was knock down into the floor but into my surprised I saw LanYi sitting in the living room with his hands and foot tied up. There's also Soffee beside him whom just looking at me with his poker face.
I went near LanYi as I immediately tried to loosen up the rope but it was too tight. I looked around the room trying to observe the surroundings but everything is clear and clean except for the scattered candles and a blanket laying in the floor.
"what happened?"
"Uncle huhuhu. Help me. There's a monster in this apartment huhuhu"
"what monster?"
"Him. he's a monster"
I look at LanYi in confusion as I followed his pouted lip directing into something--to Soffee. I frown as I look back and forth into LanYi and Soffee.
"He's not a monster. He's clearly a dog"
"no you don't understand, uncle. Just awhile ago, he was a man with a dog's ears. A man dog"
"yeah and you are a mad man. Your imagination is way too high. I forbid you for watching too much anime from now on. Wait a minute, I'll get some knife to cut the rope out"
"no no don't leave me. Don't leave me with this beast"
"I'll just head to the kitchen. what are you wailing about like a spoiled brat?"
"take me with you, uncle please?"
"how? do you want me to drag you? or will you crawl up yourself?"
"but---"
"stay there and don't let Xaoi Shing hear what you just said about his dog. He'll get upset"
"but i--- already....did"
"What?"
I was shocked in disbelief. Xaoi Shing loves Soffee too much that he can even bear eating himself only a loaf of bread than Soffee whom he always buys expensive brand of dogfood. Whenever Soffee have a little injury, he'll rush into my clinic for check up just to make sure Soffee is out of danger.
I sway my head left and right as I finally head to the kitchen. I open the drawer and took teedle and went back to the living room. I saw how terrified LanYi is while looking at Soffee in fear.
"Don't be like that. Even if Soffee always have his poker face, he's a good boy. He always obey Xaoi Shing"
"but uncle, he is a monster. He told me that he is a werewolf. he's a beast"
"LanYi, enough. I don't want to hear anymore nonsense of yours"
"but it's not"
"say one word again I'll let you sleep with Soffee tonight"
"...."
I grind the teedle into the rope and within a second it already broke. LanYi immediately hug me when he's finally free from the rope.
"uncle, let's go home. I don want to stay here any longer"
"LanYi we can't. we can't leave Soffee alone in here. Whom will gonna feed him? Xaoi Shing isn't here. and besides he requested me to take care of Soffee for the mean time until he comes back"
"Whaaatt? and you agreed?"
"why not?"
"but---"
"no buts. we're staying here and that's final. Also don't forget to fix that mess around you. Xaoi Shing is too pedant about cleanliness"
....
The day almost comes to end but my headache don't feel like it will subsided. LanYi is always screaming whenever Soffee gets near him. He even almost strick Soffee with besom that I strictly hinder him to do so. I was even more surprised about Soffee's behavior, he don't usually play with anyone else. Usually he'll just sit silently in the couch while ignoring the world. But seeing him now, he's more like enjoying to mess around with LanYi. Like he can understand that LanYi is scare of him. I can even hear him bark for the first time.
(This is new. I guess he found a new playmate)
