Cold sweats, body aches, and confusing fever dreams were a thing of the past all thanks to Verlian's excellent care. For two days, he stayed up, only leaving Ravynne's side for necessary trips. He made sure she got only the most nourishing of meals, kept her hydrated and continually changed out the wet rag that had, at one point, felt like it was going to become one with her forehead. Thankfully the storm had cleared up the following day that her fever first arose and Verlian was able to get directions to the medical office.
Medication sped up the healing process of her awful cold and Ravynne was feeling much better now. Her fever was almost non-existent now.
"I'm fine! You should rest now. You've been taking such good care of me, now enjoy a good, long sleep." Ravynne confidently demanded. He hadn't slept a wink. If someone had told her that he didn't even blink during the time she was ill, she would whole heartedly believe it.
