Ravynne fought against the man's weight, screaming out in pain as her leg scraped against the floor as she attempted to bring it upward. It felt like her bone would break under the pressure, but she persisted, much to his dismay. He pushed his weight done farther and grabbed hold of both of her wrists with a single hand, leaving his other free to wrap around her neck. Ravynne took a deep breath as soon as his fingers began to near her throat. She struggled to yank her hands free of his grasp, but it was no use, he was too strong.
Tears began to well up and sting the back of her eyes as she came to the conclusion that this would be her end. There was no 'fighting smart' or outwitting her opponent when he overtook her in strength and, thanks to his fingers squeezing her neck, stole her words from her. Just as she was giving up hope and accepting her fate, the door burst open and the man was flung away from her.
