Ravynne stayed seated as Verlian crouched down to check on her wounded knee. He tended to it with the limited supplies found in the office, promising he would do a better job once they returned to their inn. Her eyes fluttered as she struggled to stay awake. Her adrenaline was gone now and the safety of having Verlian around had caused her body to relax.
Verlian, noticing that she was fighting the urge to sleep, spoke up with concern, "Sleep. You've earned your rest."
She shook her head defiantly, "We're so close. I need to stay awake so I can see that person's face. I need to know who wanted to harm Evania so badly, who is such an evil person to try and take all of those innocent lives."
