Verlian opened his eyes to view a blurry room. Grogginess overtook him as a large yawn expelled itself from his being. He closed his eyes again and slumped back into the comfort of the bed as he reached his hand out to touch Ravynne. What was this? His hand was met with nothing but fabric. He groaned as his eyebrows furrowed and he blindly searched for any piece of her. Nothing.
His eyes shot open for a second time, and he looked over to see emptiness. Ravynne was not there. He quickly scanned the room before leaning over to check if she had rolled off the bed somehow. Nothing, she was gone.
