Warmth filled the atmosphere of the restaurant. A cozy fireplace roared and sparked in the corner of the medium sized room, the aroma of hearty stews and delicious meats being cooked filled the area and the hushed whispers of tired voices tickled Ravynne's ears. She sighed in contentment as she spooned a helpful of the meat stew she'd ordered into her mouth. If only she and Verlian weren't on an important mission, then she would be able to relax fully and would probably be feeling like she was in heaven right about now.
Verlian, however, was paying close attention to what the others were saying as he honed in on their conversations. He seemed irritated that Ravynne was taking so long to finish her food, as he had already finished a bit ago, but she didn't care. She was going to enjoy the meal she'd been waiting so long for no matter what. Besides, in her mind, it gave him more time to gather intel from the few people that were left at the tables.
