The children went to their special room which was by then decorated with all the loved. Butterfly drawings and carvings, flowers and flower pots, cartoon and many others that children loved to have.
"I have an idea." Carly started.
"What idea?" the others asked curiously as they gathered around her.
"Well, I want us to give daddy a surprise when he wakes up, that means, design something good for him and mommy." She said thinking deeply.
"Instead of saying a surprise, why don't we have it as their engagement and that gives us a clearer image of what kind of a surprise we can have for them." Harris said.
"That makes more sense." Henry said.
"That means, we need a ring, hair accessories for mommy, a suit, a dress … can you guys name them?" Camila said happily.
"I'll make the rings." Carly said.
"I'll make the dress." Camila said.
"I take the suit though Rex should get the tie ready for the occasion." Harris said.
"I accept. I'll also choose his perfume." Rex said.
"The shoes on me." Ray said.
"Henry, what do you choose?" Carly asked.
"I'll crave an image of them as a surprise gift from their beloved babies."
All said and done, they started writing down what they will need for the big day.
GREMATORIA NATIONAL HOSPITAL…
"Madan, are you sure you want to do this?" The lawyer asked.
"Dead sure." Rhea Azaan said.
Austin, Briella and Adriel were all present. Rhea Azaan had called them to be her witness. The last thing she would ever want was to have the Azaan name as her second name.
She also didn't want anyone to start gossiping that she was risking everything for a man who hadn't married her yet.
She signed the documents. The witnesses were given a place to sign also.
Since Kiaan wasn't in a position to sign, a red ink was painted on his finger and the strict guidance of the doctor and imprinted on the paper. For the first time since Kiaan was admitted here in hospital, Rhea Azaan had the chance to touch and feel his cold fingers
"I need you to wake up, for me, for the kids, for your friend and your parents." Rhea Azaan said while holding Kiaan's hands. When she started shaking, the doctors came close.
"Madam be careful. He is being supported to keep him alive and any slight mistake means his end." Dr. Alvin said.
"I know he can't die." Rhea Azaan slowly laid his hand back in position and Dr. Alvin closed the glass bed. He was back to his new home where everyone viewed him through the glass as a dead man. Fine, Rhea Azaan swallowed hard. You'll get out of here and come back to me.
She was given the papers and she smiled. From now henceforth, she will never be Rhea Azaan but Rhea Tilden.
The Finlays smiled. Here was someone who stood by their dying son and gave them hope despite what.
"Call me Mrs. Tilden please." Rhea Tilden begged Adriel.
"Mrs. Tilden." Adriel accepted which left Rhea very happy.
When she got home, she was welcomed by the kids who had their own request.
"Mommy I need a piece of diamond."
"Mommy I need around fifty pieces off pearls."
The orders came and she listened until everyone has spoken, then she sat down and the kids closed up on her.
"Mommy heard all your request and it shall be granted. Did you all have dinner?" she asked.
"Yes mom." They replied in unison.
"Am hungry and I need to eat something."
"Mommy I'll feed you." That was Carly. And it turned out the day Rhea Tilden was fed by Carly Tilden and the others sat around her and helped where necessary.
That night, she told them stories of how she grew up, how her parents treated her, how she met Kiaan and many other stories to keep them busy before sending them off to bed.
The following day, she didn't have anything much to do. She kept the kids' company and sat with them in their special room where the were doing their design.
They later went to the flower garden in the backyard and played there.
Lina and Hutson did all the work and helped her with keeping the kids happy.
FINLAY HOME
The following day…
Briella and Austin were in the living room.
After talking to Rhea Tilden and the kids, they at least felt safe. Right now, not even Amor Azaan and Avery Azaan showed up. They had stopped attracting the face of the public since the day when the State Azaan company was deserted.
The last two drama people were now employed at Finlay company under orders from Rhea.
Most of the workers from State Azaan company were now employees at Finlay company.
The others have looked for jobs elsewhere and those who were still jobless were promised jobs by Rhea.
She wanted to pay them for their sincerity to her.
"We have to be sending her some upkeep money and visiting the kids frequently, right?" Briella asked.
"f course. And besides, Adriel promised to help her to some extent." Austin said.
Adriel promised to help her raise the kids. It's not like she couldn't do it on her own but the family would still support her even when she is capable.
Just when the two wanted to leave the house and report to work, the children ran in.
"Grand pa! Grand ma!" they called.
"Huh! Sweet children. You are here. Where is mommy?" Briella hugged them.
"Mommy said she will be busy for the next two day and we have to stay here with you." Camila said.
"Ok. Who drove you here?" Austin asked.
"Uncle Hutson and aunty Lina." Rex replied.
"Tara!"
Who knew the Finlays would arrive at the company with six cute children?
That day was spent at Finlays company with the kids playing in the background.
Meanwhile…
Rhea Tilden was busy signing documents, going through files and checking her account for finance. She was home alone after sending the kids off to Briella and Austin. Hutson and Lina were with them to ensure their safety and help the old couple take care of them.
She knew they would have a hard time if they were to stay with the kids alone so she asked Hutson and Lina to be with them.
"Is everything ready?" Derek, who had decided to quit work as the Azaan's family lawyer and stand by Rhea asked.
"Yeah. Here is my card. Can we drive to the bank now?" She asked.
"Sure. But wait, don't forget the files. We will be driving to get the license and all the official stamps. Everything has to get ready by tomorrow." He said.
