Chapter 2 - CHAPTER TWO: DO YOU REMEMBER ME?

When Rhea Azaan came out of her room, it was a few minutes to dinner. So she joined her parents in the living room go watch before going in for dinner.

"Princess..." That's how her parents called her. "What's wrong with you?" Mr. Amor Azaan asked.

"Daddy I really can't explain anything but I think it's just lack of enough sleep. Since I entered the business world, it's really difficult to find enough time to rest." She said.

"Dear, I already told you not to overwork yourself ok?" Mrs. Avery Azaan said, patting her softly.

"Mommy I like what am doing. I really love my work and am devoted to make a change in the business world. Many years back, there was no time in the history of this country where a lady ever came second in command, leave alone in the business world. But at least I made it to a new level." She said. Her parents smiled.

"That's true dear, but you have to consider your health. At least get free time to rest so that you won't be having severe headaches more frequently ok?" Mrs. Avery said. Rhea Azaan was pampered from birth so of no doubt her parents would always say sweet words to her.

After dinner which was today taken earlier than usual because of Rhea Azaan's request, she left for her apartment telling her parent's she had to report to work earlier and deal with some files. She also had an appointment with the man she met earlier.

That night, Rhea Azaan was driven to her apartment in company of her guards.

Morning...

As usual, Rhea would wake up with a number of maids waiting by her bedside with different things she needed in the morning, and this day was no exception. She woke up with her maids near her bed with sweetened water and some other things she needed.

"Boss are you ok? You've been struggling in your sleep." Lina, one of the maids said. Looking at herself, she knew she might have had a nightmare. She was covered in sweet and her mouth was dry. This was the first time she had a nightmare and the strange thing is, she already forgot about it.

"Mmh.. am ok." Closing her blue eyes and trying to remember, she frowned. However hard she tried, she didn't remember anything.

"Water." She said. A maid quickly held a glass of water to her. After gulping it down, she walked off to the bathroom, the maids leaving her room.

"Boss, will you need anything else before reporting to work?" Lina asked.

"Really?" Looking at her meal time table designed to help her keep a balanced diet and a good meal, she nodded. "Add fried eggs to today's breakfast. I feel like I need to have them."

Lina noted it down and walked out.

After a moment of preparation, she walked out of her room in a simple dress and simple heels. Walking down the crystal shiny stairs which reflected her own image, she really looked like a goddess. After taking her breakfast, she stepped out of the house and into the car where they headed directly to the State Azaan company.

After getting out of the elevator, she entered her office and sat down, opening her computer and starting her day in a calm serene environment. Her office was at the very top of the company building. It was luxurious with comfortable coaches, soft velvet and a the fancies one would think of. It was also just adjacent to the city. At one side was a forest which blew fresh air up into the office. The sun rays penetrated the ventilators and shone into the room.

Her secretary Valerie walked into the office after knocking and being allowed in. With a file in her hand, she stood respectfully waiting for her command. As always, Hutson stold at the door and no conversation in the room would escape him.

"Boss, all the supplies ordered were done by early today morning. The deliveries were also made and all the finance record are with Mr. Riker, the finace officer. Apart from the late reports and late emails, there is nothing negative recorded so far." Valerie explained.

"As for late replies and late emails, I already gave the order to have the best computer personnel hired to this company." Typing something on her computer, she said.

"Also, one Mr. Kiaan Tilden from Finlay company is here to meet you." Valerie said, causing Rhea Azaan to stop midway on the keyboard. For some unknown reasons, her heart skipped a bit when Kiaan Tilden's name was mentioned.

"Let him in." She said.

Valerie bowed respectfully before walking out. Rhea Azaan didn't continue typing. Instead, she stared at the door waiting for the man to enter.

The door was opened by Hutson and Kiaan Tilden walked in. He was dressed in a simple navy blue suit which didn't look expensive and new. His hair was well combed and as usual, his eyes were shiny black and distant.

"It's an honor to visit you in your office the great goddess in business." He bowed respectfully before walking to the empty seat opposite her. Rhea Azaan only managed to nod while staring at the man.

"You wanted to meet me for business purposes. What exactly did you want to talk about?" She asked in her usual business tone.

"Umm... I actually can't say I have anything special madam, but... I really want to talk about my Company. Not really talk about it, but I want to know your opinion and also to have you help me in some issues to do with it." His voice was clear, man like and soft.

"You can proceed." She said.

Running his long snooth fingers I'm his hair, he breathed hard before he started to speak. His explanation was clear and he really stated what he wanted to know and where he needed help. Rhea Azaan listened attentively and after his talk, he stopped and waited patiently for her to say something.

"Actually am impressed with your explanation and to be frank, you're really trying. Even if you aren't making huge steps to be recognized much in the country, you are doing something good to yourself. Everyone seems to think yo be famous is all but according to me, that isn't the whole thing. You have to start somewhere and have visions of making far more steps in further. That's starts with how you organise and manage yourself and your company." Rhea Azaan explain while Kiaan Tilden listened attentively.

She also gave him some books that she personally had written and other books about business that otehrs have written and she found them worthy to recommend to him.

Thanking her, Kiaan Tilden stood up and started walking to the door but turned to look at Rhea Azaan who was also looking at him and their eyes met. Rhea Azaan looked down, a little bit embarrassed.

"Do you remember me?" He asked.

"What? Remember you? Have we met before?" Rhea Azaan opened her eyes wide.

"If you don't, probably you will one day." With that, Kiaan Tilden left.

Rhea Azaan's head hurt so much that she slapped the table, causing Hutson to run.

"Madam, did he do anything? We can arrest him." Hutson said.

"No... Am... Just left him be." Holding her head in her arms, Rhea Azaan staggered in the bathroom and soaked in the bathtub with her eyes closed, biting her mouth hard that it almost bled.

"Have we ever met before? But I haven't had any incidences of memory loss..."
