Monokami Kiryo. She is a part of the Freelancers, a group of non-affiliated students who attends the Public Studies Dorm on the School City.
As a person who is not affiliated to any school, she is a loner and tends to keep to herself. Though she is pretty violent and tends to choose drastic options on simple things.
Like for example, if she wanted to pay her debts, her first option will be to rob a bank. If she wants to find someone, she will track them through illegal networks.
She have a good heart but her thought process is heavily misguided. It is unnoticeable because of her calm and neutral expression.
That kind of person is currently staring at him in confusion. She seems to be curious how her room is suddenly connected with his guild room.
His guild composed of only four rooms. A small one for kitchen, another room that acts as the main room, another room for his personal use, and a bathroom.
This room is a bit cramped due to the many furnitures adorning it. It have the reception table besides the entrance, a large table and some wooden chairs, and some drawers from here and there. The room is also small enough that only three person can make this room too hard to maneuver.
'What should I do, this is the girl who can easily keep up with a whole freaking gang!'
The game she came from is titled Insertia. It is a game about a city of schools full of magical girls with modern firearms. There are many schools within, but ten schools and thirty two factions were known on the whole game.
Eighteen of those were part of the school and law enforcement of the city, nine are part of the criminal elements of that city, and three are neutral elements. Along with this are a myriad of gangs.
Gangs on the settings of this game are no joke. They are capable enough to defeat majority of the characters of this game. The only exception being a select few.
Kiryo is canonically one of those who managed to destroy a whole gang by her lonesome. With her trusty white SMG, she managed to deplete their numbers until none remains.
People on Insertia are very strong due to their magical capabilities. They can easily tank orbital strikes and artillery shells, and shrug most explosions like TNT and napalm. This includes everyone, even those who are part of a gang, so it is an amazing feat to deal with all of those with her lonesome.
That girl is talking to him, and she seems to be wary enough that it is sending warning signals on his mind.
"Tell me, what is this place?" Her eyes narrowed directly on his.
'Shit! She's going to kill me...!'
He can feel an overpowering feeling that seems to be crushing him. It felt like something heavy is putting him down and causing his legs to turn jelly.
'I have to think of something....!'
He takes a deep breath, coughs, then force a smile on his face. His eyes a bit narrowed as he focuses on her.
"Hello there. Welcome to my guild, Ms. Kiryo!" He said with his arms spread, as if to welcome her.
"How did you know my name?"
He felt a sweat coming down on his cheeks. "Trade secret." He answered succinctly.
Her eyes narrowed for a bit before taking the time to glance a bit on the room. Then she turns her face on the entrance door, taking her attention out of him.
Despite that, he can instinctively feel her guard, like she is still aware of him despite not looking at him. There is this primal feeling within him, telling him that it will be a bad idea to do something strange in her presence.
'Is this what they call a survival instinct!? I thought this is just a myth!' He thought in surprise.
Kiryo moves to the entrance door and tries to open it, only to almost stumble as it didn't budge. Looking curiously, she tries to pull the knob more forcefully without any success.
That action makes even him to gasp in surprise. That door is just a simple worn door that have seen the better days. Her strength should be enough to tear it out of it's hinges.
Not seeing that causes his mind to whirl into overdrive, as he saw her becoming more curious and also impatient.
She stop trying to pull the door and glances at him with an intense gaze. It causes him to raise his hand, trying to look harmless for her eyes.
'Have to think fast!'
He takes the time to cough, taking her attention before speaking.
"If you wanted to see the world outside, you must be willing to join my guild. Only those who joins my guild can see what's on the other side of that door."
It's bullshit. He knows it but he really hopes that what he is saying is the truth.
He wanted to recruit her as his member. No one in this place seems to want to join him, and this girl seems to be the real Kiryo. He thinks that, if it's those he actually knows on the game, then he might have a chance to recruit them.
He'll just have to play his cards right.
She glances at him for a bit more before going back to the room she came from awhile ago. Seeing that behind it is still the ethereal image of her room awhile ago, she tries to go inside it.
She easily manages to pass through as the door slowly closes. Though before it fully closes, she emerges once again, opening it wide once more before moving closer to him.
Her stare is scary, which causes him to take a step back. It felt like a wolf who seems to be staring at it's prey, and it is causing him to panic internally.
Just when he thought that he pissed the girl and is going to use her gun to put a lead on his head, she said something he is surprised to hear.
"What does joining your guild entails?"
He blinks for a bit, and blinks for a bit more, before he finally processed what she is talking about. He tries to give a confident grin, though it only looks like a weird expression.
"Okay. Let me tell you about every benefits for joining me...!"
So he explained to her the particulars for joining his guild.
He made it generous when joining his guild. The benefits that his members will get are as follows.
They will get ten silver coins as their weekly salary and have a chance of increasing it depending on the weekly revenue of the guild. They will be free to do whatever and can accept work on guild whenever they wanted. Majority of the pay for quests will go to them, including personal commissions.
This is beyond beneficial to members, mostly for a newbie guild like him. He is really desperate for members so he made it like that.
He don't know why no one is trying to join him despite the many benefits they will get, but he blames it up on his own incompetence.
He might have some smarts, but he is not knowledgeable about this world so he don't know how they will react.
Hearing those, she looks at him in curiosity.
"You don't use cards?"
"No. I only give coins in cash." He admitted with a shrug.
She slowly nodded at his word, contemplating on those terms. Then she looks at him with a gleam in her eyes.
"Okay. I'll accept. I'll be your member!"
He is surprised. The girl easily accepted him. He thought she will have some resistance first, and he have to do some persuading before she decides to join.
"Wow... you just decided on that so quickly!"
"I am not obligated to do your stuffs even if I join you, right?"
"Yes."
He quickly understands where she is coming from. The girl didn't like being bounded by organizations and values her freedom.
"Okay. I'll be taking some things first. Just a moment!"
With that, he leaves. Going on his room to take the things he needed to finalize her membership.

Those who aspires to be a Guild Leader must first go to the Royal Palace to register their guild. They must already have a place to use as their base of operations before registering, as the address of their base is also included on the forms needed to create a guild.
As for Guild Members, they don't need the Royal Palace to become a guild member. The only thing they need to have is to be accepted by the Guild Leader or any higher executives of that guild.
They only need to fill their name up on a document, and then get a card that will identify them as the member of that guild.
The document they are using is made of a paper that have a magical properties to turn any language understandable to those who sees it, and turn every language written to it into a language that can be comprehended by everyone.
Seeing her writing her name in her own language makes him look at her with a weird expression. Somehow, he can read Japanese despite being an American.
'In fact, I can clearly hear her speaking to me in Japanese. How the fuck does she understand me, and how can I understand her!?' Those are one of the things that makes him confuse on this whole situation.
But he tries not to show it on his face. He didn't want the girl to suddenly notice something weird in him and stop filling up the papers. That would be a waste.
After taking care of the document, next is the metallic card. The is not just a simple metal plate. It is a magical plate capable of showing some info about it's user.
This is the Guild Card. It is the ID of every guild members used to identify their affiliation.
To finish her membership, he just need the document that she filled up awhile ago and put it on the metallic plate. As the Guild Card absorbs the document in a wisps of light, the metal plate slowly shows info on it's front.

It is the first time he did that. He only got to know what to do because those on the Royal Palace teaches new guild leaders about it. Honestly, he is amazed at the great spectacle that he sees. It truly gives him a fantasy feeling.
He glances at the girl and see that her face is still impassive, though her irises seems to dilate a little. He smiles before handing the card to her.
As she takes it into her hand, he takes the time to bow a bit to her with some theatrics.
"Once again, welcome to my Guild, Monokami Kiryo. I hope we have a long and nice relationship!"
The girl just nodded while she looks left and right at the card, her intrigue seems to be piqued. Then she pocketed it.
This is the day he got his very first member of his guild.
