"So, this one is a dangerous person?"
"Yes. She seems to be amicable for now so don't provoke her."
After explaining to Kiryo about the witch's identity, Kiryo is a bit tense being around her. The witch in question is just smiling on their way like their wariness isn't bothering her.
Maybe it really isn't bothering the witch. No matter the case, her presence alone is causing them to be distressed.
"I understand. Please be careful with her." Kiryo said with a nod before taking a step back.
Then she called for Elio so they can begin their second hunt. Elio seems to be unwilling at first, but just staring at the witch won't be productive so she slowly stands up and follow Kiryo to the outside.
As they opened the entrance to get to the outside, they suddenly felt a wind passing through them, before a loud sound of flesh smacking on a wall has been heard.
"Ooof!"
Surprised, Kiryo quickly aimed her SMG at the person that fell besides them while Elio glares at the person as water balls occurs on her surroundings.
The person that suddenly blurs pass them is the witch herself. It seems like she is trying to chance upon them opening the door so she can go outside. Though, it seems like even when the door is opened, she still can't get out.
"Ow. That's gotta hurt..." Merzalfit muttered as she rubs her stinging nose.
"You!"
Elio seems to be have just lost her patience as her glare intensifies, the water ball slowly forming into a spear that spins at incredible speeds.
"Ahaha! That's great! I'd like the challenge for this!" She turns her gaze at Elio. "You have a problem with that?" She smirks at the water controlling hero.
"Elio! Just go....!"
"But what about you?"
"I'll be fine. This witch won't do anything to me!"
With his reassurance, the two looks at the witch with a dangerous stare before they reluctantly stop brandishing their weapon or magic at her.
"Please tell us if she did something, we'll quickly help you." Kiryo told him before the two finally leaves.
He sighs before standing up and going to the laptop. The entrance door has already been closed by the two before they left.
Merzalfit glances at him, her interest piqued once again as she saw him booting up the laptop and doing something with it.
"What is it?"
"This is just some technology. You don't need to think about it too much."
"But I want to know!"
This witch is too annoying, but he can't really lash out to her. As long as she is being naughty like this, he knows that she is still not going to do some terrifying things.
It is a good thing that she is pretty popular on the game. She appears a bit frequently on the story mode of Sin Factor, and most of her personality has been fleshed out there, so he can understand for a bit if she is still safe to be with or not.
The witch is scary when she got angry. It's pretty hard to get to that point, but the right buttons will trigger her. Anyone who tries to do so we're killed, with only the Hero Sage Carmine being the one to survive her wrath, even defeating her.
His neglect won't offend her. She is used to being shunned after all.
"Just don't bother me. If you want to stay, then do whatever you want. Just don't expect us to be accommodating!"
"How rude! Didn't you know your talking to one of the witches?"
"Witches or whatever, I don't care. You think I really give a fuck?"
He said all of that while operating the two drones. One for surveillance and the other is for the supply box.
The witch is amused at his defiant tone, and just felt more interested with him.
It is a stretch, but he have to look as confident by the others. He didn't want the witch to seem him trembling in fear. She'll be a lot more troublesome if she notices it.
"Okay. Time to deploy these two!"
After opening two tabs and taking care of all the things to control the drones, the drones slowly floats on the ground before quickly leaving through windows.
"Wow! What are those!"
"None of your business!"
~~o~~
Evening is just coming through as the two came back and decided to go back to their world. The money they got is a bit more, with 20 silver coins more after selling their loot again to the same shop from yesterday.
"Thank you for your cooperation once again, William-sama." Kiryo said.
"It's nothing."
With that, Kiryo left the place. Before she did so, she takes a last glance at the witch who is just sitting idly on the chair before she goes behind the door.
Elio is the next to tell him about her intention to leave.
"Just be careful about that wench! I'll take care of her later!"
"Yeah...."
As the two finally leaves the place, only the two of them remains.
The silence that follows through is deafening. It felt so awkward for him just sitting here along with one of the most dangerous person he have met so far.
He didn't want to initiate a conversation. He wanted her to become bored and leave this place, and preferably not come back if she did so.
Though, the silence is truly overwhelming. He can't help but decide to utter some words.
"So... what are you still doing here?" It's the first thing that came to his mind.
"I'm staying."
His head snapped and his attention suddenly is pointed to her face, his jaw slack at the straight and sudden answer.
"What? Are you serious?"
"You said I can do whatever, so I'll help myself." The witch replied with a grin.
He felt a headache coming to him as he saw the obvious interest that she is showing to him, and this whole place. It will be difficult to discourage her.
He is going to argue more before he felt his stomach grumbling. He clicks his tongue before throwing his hands out on the air.
"Okay fine! Just suit yourself!"
With that, he left the guild to eat outside. The witch tries to sneak behind him though she was only met with the mysterious force that is blocking her to go outside of this guild.
It is extremely disrespectful as he just left her alone without even treating her to a food, though she is not offended and is just amused.
"Hahaha... that guy is seriously amazing! Ignoring me like I'm some naughty child! I'm liking this place more!" She said as the door closes onto her face.
It will be hard, but he hopes the girl just gives up sooner. Though it is just a wishful thinking as the witch declared her interest to stay. That witch will do it if she decided to do so. He knows because it is one of her traits frequently shown on the game.
As he walks on the darkening streets that is only illuminated by the sunset and the magical lamps on the side of the streets, he heaves a sigh of exasperation.
'This is my life now...' He thought.
