A day passes and the group is getting used to their new headquarters. They even got new weapons made that were tailored to their specific abilities and training. Then they got wind of a boy from China, wielding the same powers they did. Only his powers revolved around the use of Chi, and he was a bit of a loner. He was also fused with a panda spirit so he was very self conscious about himself and the fact his parents had him train every day in cultivation, and summoning beasts. They decided to meet him at the Warp Pad spot and greet him. They managed to get there in under an hour, and they were greeted by a cold stare from a boy with a chubby body similar to Suzaku's, but his eyes seemed to be closed, and one of his canine teeth hung out of his mouth. He also had iga bakama pants, tai chi shoes, and a bright tep t-shirt. He also had two sword straight swords in a special hilt he carried on his back. His name was Zheng, and it was obvious he wasn't interested in making friends. "Nice to meet you." Isobu greeted him. "Name's Isobu Morris. We're similar to you." he said. Zheng just sent a swift kick his way, forcing Isobu to dodge it at the last second. "I don't care who you are. I'm not being friends with kids. Just stay away from me, we're not the same, and I want nothing to do with you or this stupid power." Zheng angrily said as he walked away. Suzaku stopped him by grabbing his long black hair. "Hey. You should apologize to my friend there." he said. Zheng just used a palm thrust to Suzaku's rib before he could move, and launched him about three feet away from him. He then walked away as if nothing happened. Eve used a tracking spell to keep tabs on Zheng, and make sure he wasn't out of her sight, and healed Suzaku's ribs and helped him up.
It took an hour to get back to their tree house, and Eve was still keeping a spiritual eye on Zheng, making sure he didn't leave her sight. Then Orchid alerted everyone that he was in trouble because there was strange men running at him at a rapid speed. "We can't wait, we have to go get him right now." Suzaku ordered, but Isobu was confused after the shot to the ribs. "Sorry about our skepticism, we thought you'd be pissed at him." he said. Suzaku was still angry with him, but he wouldn't leave him to die. So everyone had gotten dressed up, with Orchid having a new outfit, which was a blue spotted crop top and a spell that cloaked her face that was put into a necklace wrapped around her horns. She had a skirt and a sort of cloak wrapped around her waist to add with the skirt. She helped with transport with a leaf that doubled as a glider, and found Zheng fighting off three strange monsters that were overwhelming him quickly. "Okay, get Zheng and lets regroup. We'll deal with these monsters in a minute." Isobu yelled as he made an electric field around Zheng while Ray made a rope to grab him and keep him from moving. They all stopped on a large building and thought of a plan. Zheng was angry and yelled at them, wondering why they saved him. Suzaku punched him as payback. "Idiot, enough sulking over something long passed. You're with new people, and we care. My dad told me about you in a text message and I understand, you were trained as a kid and you were upset. But consider the world we live in now. We have to defend ourselves, we're not just kids. Normal was never part of the deal but we gotta make the best of it. Now get up, put on your big boy pants, and be part of the group dammit!" he yelled, causing Zheng to tear up and start crying. Suzaku hugged him and patted his back, calming him down. "I-I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have hit you. Just...I just don't know how to feel. My parents trained me so hard they worked themselves into the grave, and now I can't even yell at them." he said. Suzaku kept holding him, but the monsters caught up to them and started attacking, forcing them all to scatter. Zheng and Suzaku lead on of the monsters away from the others. "Okay Zheng, this may be a tall request but we have to use our powers, can you do that?" Suzaku asked. Zheng nodded and both of them fired energy blasts from their fingers, but the monster kept dodging as it was airborne. They both seemed to be leading the monster to a specific area, and it had been to a crowd of people to blend in. The other two monsters kept looking around for the others who had also hidden in the crowd. The kept firing long range pin-point blasts of energy to keep them confused, and Ray trapped them in a cage and kept them from using their powers in any way. "Hah, got em. Nice shooting you guys, we just pulled off a successful plan with no casualties." he said as they flew to the police station. Zheng looked guilty and properly greeted himself to everyone when they stopped.
Gabriel was there and he was impressed at all of them for the capture, and the plan that was used to do it. "Nice one everyone. Allow me to handle them, and we'll get some answers." he said, leading the monsters to a room. He kept asking them questions, but they answered the same way, "our god said so". Gabriel was getting a concerned look on his face as this was a similar situation he went through, and stopped questioning them after a minute as it was going nowhere. "Sorry kids, but these three will not be giving us answers on anything. You should go back to the tree house, and we'll follow up on it okay? And again, great work." he said before going back to his desk. All of the kids went to the tree house, and Zheng was amazed how good it looked inside. "If it's okay, may I..live here? I don't have anywhere else to go." he asked. Everyone else decided that Zheng should live with Suzaku and Anji, much to his annoyance and embarrassment. But first they all decided to train their powers, so they took an hour to train their powers. All of them pushed their power to the maximum, including Zheng who started to transform into a large Panda Beast. His body grew fur, and his face started to transform, and his energy started to rise. He started shadow fighting and it was like dancing in a way with his Tai Chi movements, and he was doing very well. He also partially summoned Chinese Immortal beasts, and infusing his attacks with his chi. He was a capable fighter on his own, and everyone was impressed by his incredible powers, and he was happy that everyone was able to see his skill. They all stopped to have lunch and ice cream, talking about how their day was pretty much perfect and they pulled off a great plan with little risk. They decided to play some games outside for the rest of the day and just enjoy themselves.
