The next day, Eve visited Isobu's place with a new appearance, seemingly for a date. She had cut her hair and slicked most of it to one side, and she wore a shoulder-less spotted shirt, and pants with shoes sewn together with an armored cape around her hips. Also her one wing had turned a black, which she liked. She knocked on the door and Isobu came out already dressed in jeans and a tank top, which made Eve blush a lot. "U-uh..hey Isobu. Hope you don't mind if..we go to a Dungeon realm real quick? Please?" she asked. Isobu pulled her inside, telling her not to wear her hero outfit in public or her identity would be revealed. She then changed her clothing in a flash of light to just a regular dress and fluffy slippers. Quason was making spaghetti in the kitchen, and Eve's stomach started to growl since she didn't eat breakfast. "Miss Forgetful strikes again. Come on, you can have some cereal. Can't have you fight on an empty stomach right? And do not eat the one with my initials on it, that's my favorite." he said, making Eve giggle that he would do something like that. They both eat, enjoying each others company, and Eve asks why he had sleepy looking eyes all the time. Isobu remarked that it's just how he looks no matter how long he sleeps. Eve says it looks uniquely cute for him, which makes Isobu blush and finish his food. Quason looks at both of them smiling, remembering how awkward his first date with Ursa was, and that she said he had a weird hat.
Eve and Isobu went over to the E.D.E.N Tree in the North Pole, and went through the massive trunk in order to see Quantum Reality Space, and request to find a dungeon. A large bubble moves in front of them and they both go in, knowing the exit will take them back to the front of the tree and all the loot they take will be theirs to keep. They equipped their hero outfits and ran to the first room. As they ran, they noticed a bunch of living skeletons with bone weapons, and they had to fight through them with their weapons and minor usage of their powers. Isobu remarked how Eve was getting a better understanding of what her Meta is able to do, and how she liked to use it in combat. Eve decided to show off a little, and create a large halberd to telekinetically control and let it dice through the horde of skeleton. Isobu revised his assessment, and likened it to the Morphogenetic Field, giving her control over all forms of light. Eve assessed that Isobu's power controls the very concept of lightning and electricity, which he nodded in agreement. They both kept running, making sure not to run into any traps or ambush monsters along the way, when they came to the first boss. It was a massive frost bird that frozen over the entire room. They both decide to fight it head on, dodging it's frosted projectiles and massive wings. Over time they realized it was getting ready to unleash an attack that would leave the area below sub zero, and cover themselves in light and lightning to keep themselves from freezing over. "You know, I think I finally get it. These powers manipulate esoteric concepts, causing us to control them at our choosing. We gotta tell the others once we get out of...here." he said as he saw the massive bird gush blood from it's chest and fall out of the sky, injured but alive. Eve looked at who attacked, and it was a man with an ice arm. He had a mask on that looked like a deer's face, and he was about to kill the bird. Eve rushed over and kicked him away, while using light particles to heal the massive bird's wound, and she started to cry, much to the bird's confusion. "I'm sorry...whenever I see someone hurt I start crying. I don't know why..I guess empathy..don't worry, I'll be done in no time." she said. The bird understood and stayed still while she healed him. Isobu went in front of Eve to protect her from him, and the man got back up ready to attack.
Isobu was in an attack stance, and charged at the man with his kunai and went to go cut off his ice arm, but his legs froze in place and the man got close to him. "You shall not hinder the progress of our god. I shall shatter you to bits, and offer your soul to Him. Time to.." he was cut off by a swift punch to the temple and a blast of lightning as well. Isobu had made a clone before he had frozen, and only his clone at be frozen. The more attacks the man threw, the faster Isobu adapted by substituting clones to most a split second faster and attack while his kunai was covered in lighting. Then the man sprouted wings, and shot razor sharp feathers at him that were cursed to cause the target to explode internally. "So you're gonna spring a sneak attack on me huh? Well how about this one." he said as he summoned a large paint brush out of thin air and drew a small black hole to absorb the feathers. The man looked stunned as he didn't think anyone could use something like a brush in that way. Isobu didn't bother explaining his brush, and just kept attacking the man with drawings and his lightning. The attacks were going too fast for the man to keep up, and eventually he was overwhelmed and got knocked out by the brush. Eve finished healing the bird, and saw that someone else was coming at Isobu from below, and surrounded Isobu in a 360 field to keep him from being attacked. Isobu moved out of the way, and saw that it was a snake man coming to kill the man that was knocked out. Eve knocked him away with a bat made of light, and changed it to a sword to use while she drew her other one to attack as the snake man lunged at her with his fangs extended. Eve fought back and swing her swords like they were made of light material, and was gaining an edge against him. Isobu was impressed at her skills, not relying on huge blasts and using pin point aim to stop him from jumping around while she kept swinging. The snake man eventually got too tired to move anymore, and Eve bounded it with chains made of light and Isobu helped carry them to end of the dungeon while fighting off more skeletons. They reached the end and teleported back to the police station to turn the men in
Gabriel was there and shocked to see them carrying two large men on their backs, and went over to make sure they were still conscious. The men woke up and tried using an explosion spell, but it didn't work due to the chain's seal inscription that their powers be sealed within them. Eve explained that they were talking about offering souls to their God, and that they made sure not to kill them, but they couldn't read their minds for some reason. Gabriel did, and found out that they were servants to Cabal's brother and were sent to gather souls on his behalf in order to break out of the prison realm. Isobu and Eve weren't sure what to make of this information, and Gabriel said that he was going to handle it for now, so Eve and Isobu go back home in order to relax after the day they had. Eve and Isobu lightly brag about who's power theory was correct, explaining how each are different from each other.
