"Is there something wrong, Milady?" Lola asked when she saw Ashley in deep thought.
Ashley woke up from her thoughts and answered, "N-nothing."
"Then this way, please." Lola entered a door as Ashley followed. Upon entering, two maids stood inside the room.
"This will be your room, and these two will be your maids." Then the two maids bowed down to Ashley.
"We're at your service, Milady."
Ashley felt uneasy getting the treatment of a noble lady. When the Count announced her as his daughter, the people at the mansion acknowledged her and treated her like a noble lady. But she never got used to it. Instead, she's always on edge since some maids took this opportunity to get her favour. Now that she's in another house and she still feels uneasy.
Lola noticed her uneasiness and asked, "Are you alright, Milady? Don't you like your room?"
"Ah...N-no...It's alright. I-I'm just tired."
