The wolf seemed to be angered by that sentence, it raised it's head and howled loudly.

'A Stun attack? Knew there were more abilities.' Verum thought as he prepared his move, but the wolf didn't give him the time to do so, it ran towards him, making him jump out of it's way, causing the gathered mana to dissipate.
'Tch, Troublesome.' He looked around to see if there was something he could use to it engaged for a bit so that he could prepare his attack. He was not able to find anything, though he noticed a sort of cave out of the corner of his eye.
'So there's the den. I was wondering why it was called 'Wind Wolf Den' instead of just territory, wonder what's in it?' He quickly got rid of these distracting thoughts and got his attention back to the matter at hand, he called out to two of men to aid him, And Jason appeared along side one of Vesi's warriors.
"Sorry sir, but all our troops are currently engaged, so only me and him are available, what do you need us to do?" Jason asked, and Verum replied after dodging another of the alpha's swipes. "I need you to hold this guy down for about five seconds, I hope you can do that, right?" "Of course sir, leave it to us!" Jason answered, and moved forward to intercept the wolf.
Verum had no doubt that Jason could kill the Alpha wolf given suitable circumstances, so had no doubt that he could hold it back for some time without any problem, which proved true as he weaved around it's attacks, alongside, Verum noticed with a satisfied smile, sticking close to it's sides at all times.
He had bought Verum more than enough time to prepare his spell, and for a while, Verum just stood and stabilized it.
He was standing with his right arm outstretched in front of him, and there was a cone of fire spinning rapidly about a meter in the air in front of it. The cone was joined by four spiral lines to two also spinning circles, and all of them had a few spikes protruding out at regular intervals.
"Out of the way!" Verum shouted, as charged towards the wolf head on.
Jason and the other man hastily moved out of the way as Verum leaped into the air above. "Inferno series..." He proclaimed, and the wolf just dazedly stared at it's incoming doom. "Hell Drill!" The cone struck it's head, and suddenly increased it's rotational speed, going from visible speed, to barely distinguishable spirals.
The wolf's head did not stand a chance, it immediately collapsed inwards, and blood and brain matter went flying everywhere as it's body slumped onto the ground.
Verum landed in front of it, his face not betraying what he felt, but inside, he was quite dumbfounded. 'Wow, that packs quite a punch.'
"Let's go, we have to take down the king now." Verum spoke to Jason, as he started to move towards the wolf king.
The wolf king was suppressed, it was not able to damage it's attackers, but it was not getting damaged as well, it's defense was a notch higher than it's attackers attack, which put them at a stalemate with neither side doing anything to each other, just moving around as they tried to do so, with no success at all.
But that changed when Verum arrived on scene.
"Formation T2!" He shouted, as he ran up to the wolf king and engaged it in combat, and all of his men jumped away and surrounded it in a circle, a big one.
Twelve of his men were further back, and the other three were much closer, only about ten meters away when it started.
"Ice!" Verum again shouted, and the formation technique began.
[Formation T2, or Trap Formation Number 2, comprises of having atleast six people, with two handling attack, and the other four being responsible for holding the target in place]
[There are two ways to utilize this formation]
[One- killing]
[Those holding the target use earth magic to raise walls on all four sides around the target, note that this is only useful for targets that are incapable of flight. The more people there are, the better the effect. Immediately after the walls go up, the attackers are to jump up, and unleash their attack, usually fire to obtain the best effect in the contained space, though other types of magic can be used as well]
[In this case, there are twelve holders, and four attackers, which make for quite a formidable formation]
[Two- Trapping]
[This case, is almost the same as the other one, but in this case, instead of outright attacking with full force, other methods, such as weakening, or just holding it in place for as long as required, can be used, in addition, the walls can be infused with mana from the outside, giving the wall some properties which they don't usually have, which may help in whatever is needed to do]
