[Level up!]

[Level up!]

[Level up!]

[Level up!]

[Level up!]

The notifications filled up my vision, I was satisfied, yet when I saw the levels, I frowned.

"Why only five?" I wondered as I opened up my status.

[Lv: 10]

[Exp: 375/500]

[HP: 120/120]

[MP: 210/210]

[Ki: 120/120]

[STR: 10]

[DEX: 18]

[AGI: 13]

[DEF: 11]

[CON: 12]

[INT: 21]

[WIS: 35]

Five hundred! Why so much?

It was too big an increase since the previous increments were of ten, and this one added 350 to it. It wouldn't take too long to level up since I only needed 125 xp, but if it kept increasing like that, I would be reduced to grinding for days to level up once!

Sighing, I turned my attention to the other items.

A whistle escaped my lips, looking at the all the loot in front of me. It felt nice, knowing that all of this is all because of my hard work, and so it all belonged to me. Then I remembered that I had not inspected my new sword yet.

The sword made from the spikes had a brown color, it was a Falchion.

[Unnamed] [Silver]

[STR+2]

[Effect: Causes target to lose durability]

[Please name the weapon]

What should I name it? I wondered, but decided to leave it for later. I'll ask someone to name it for me. I equipped the armor, shield and spear, and the swords were strapped to my hips. The skill books had vanished as soon as I touched the armor, so I threw them to the back of my mind.

[Would you like to leave the dungeon?]

[Y/N]

I can stay? Why is that? Is there something else I can do?

I decided to look around for a bit, see if there's something I missed. So I started surveying the surroundings from atop a pillar. This place was bigger than it first seemed, I could see some places I hadn't been to, and there was movement there as well, so I went there.

Upon approach, I saw that they were the same monsters I had met previously, with a sigh, I prepared for battle.

The fight was much easier with my new equipment, it only took a thrust to the head to deal with the demons, and my new spear could pierce the scorpions exoskeleton. As for those 'things', I did not find anymore of them, thank goodness.

I had missed a lot of the enemies, I had just finished off the seventh group when another panel popped up. Along with a chest.

[You have achieved a 'Perfect clear'!]

This one was red in color.

[Congratulations on obtaining 'Strange fragment'!]

[Congratulations on obtaining 'Bloody pill'!]

In my hand was a piece of rock with some sort of carvings on it, along with a red, marble-sized ball. Before I could do anything, I was consumed by light, and vanished.

*****

(Third person)

Verum appeared in the same spot he vanished from, but with armor and weapons with him.

He had just stabilized himself, when the sky lit up in blue.

Verum just stood there, trying to process all that happened. He stood blankly for 5 seconds, before he got back to his senses.

"Wow, just... Wow!" he said, he had not anticipated these many rewards! He kept on looking at the panels, but made no move to read the descriptions. He went to get himself some water, and while drinking it, he got another message.

[You have received a message!]

[I was not expecting to contact you again so soon, but since I have to, here I go.

You remember that I said I would make some changes, right? Well, one of those was upgrading your eyes, giving you more eye powers. But since I have to keep it balanced, I made it so that it would only happen if something big happened, and what you did just now, qualified you to three upgrades. It came as a surprise, but a welcome one nonetheless, to see that you are already making others aware of your name.

P/S: Did you forget to increase your stats? You were way too weak for someone of your level]

Verum was silent as he looked at the 45 unassigned stat points he had.
