The next morning was peaceful, the sun casting its balmy rays through my bedroom window. My eyes were sore from crying last night, and as I rubbed my lids I remembered that we didn't get to have dinner together. Right after talking to Erilyn, I returned upstairs and ate with Cosie here in my room.
With a sigh, I rose from the bed, taking heavy steps toward my mirror. A new reflection was staring back at me, and it felt awfully as though I was looking at a stranger. A stranger that was also familiar. They ash-grey hair was beginning to grow on me, and I thought the color complemented my tan skin really nicely.
